About Von Zdon Weimaraners
VonZdon Weimaraners breeds with the intention that the dogs bred to do what they were developed for in the first place hunting. We have been breeding Weimaraners for thirty years we have competed in AKC field trials and hunt tests against all breeds. We have developed FC/AFC - Field champions and Amateur field champions and our breeding has produced the same. We breed for even temperament, trainability and gundogs that have style. I’m an AKC pointing breed field trial judge and we know how our dogs rank and the possibilities with them. They are strong pointers and retrievers and would make a fine hunting companion for anyone. Dogs are OFA tested against hip dysplasia. There are many venues these dogs can go into even just a companion dog. We met our Weimeraner, Bodhisattva,in July 2009 at 2weeks old, visited again & picked him out at 8 weeks & then took him home at 10 weeks, & has been by my side 24/7 for 14&1/2 years. I have never had or even seen a more beautiful, sweet & loving dog in my life! He is hands down the best dog in the world! He is loyal & fiercely protective of his family & home, yet so affectionate--like a big baby! I never knew it was possible to love a dog this much & I wish we were just starting over again with him and I am praying for more time with him! Thank you to the best breeders ever!

We met our pup at 8 weeks and took him home at 9 weeks. He is now 4.5 months old. His parents are well muscled and have great instincts, titles, and pedigrees. Our pup is trained off lead, responds to the whistle, knows "Whoa" and is an absolute joy. By far the best pup I have ever had. Loves to run and swim, and is starting to notice birds more and more. He is great with the family and with company. The dogs are bred to the standard. We highly recommend Von Zdon Weims.
