About Meadow Wood Kennels
Here at Meadow Wood Kennels we think that it is most important to have our dogs and puppies raised to do what they were bred for and that's keeping the hunt in the dog. They have such a strong will to please, that you will not be disappointed in your decision to welcome one in your family.
American Water Spaniels are to me one of the best "Family" dogs bred today. I raise my dogs as children, with my children. This way they are socialized as puppies so they are always as careful and gentle as would expect and trust.
I make sure my dogs are healthy and clear of any congenital or hereditary diseases before they are put into the breeding program. I certify that both parents have been certified cleared through CERF for eyes and OFA of any evidence of Hip Dysplasia. It is the only sure way we can keep the American Water Spaniel breed alive, thriving and healthy.
