Hello and welcome to Thistle and That Farm Labradors. We are located in lovely Historic Gilmanton Iron Works, New Hampshire on a 117 acre horse farm. Our female dogs, Hatteras and Bertram are not just the best representation of the breed but members of our family. We are a small farm and focus on hobby breeding to be able to pass on the best of the American Lab and English Lab in the original colors of Yellow, Black and Chocolate. We like to keep it simple and real...and that means authentic and honest!
Our AKC registered female dogs are OFA hip, elbow, and eye tested... we also do genetic testing for other Labrador breed specific diseases. We only breed to the best studs who are also OFA and genetic tested so we can assure the highest health and breed quality puppies to you!
Our puppies leave our farm no sooner than 8 weeks and the following items are included: limited AKC registration, first veterinarian health visit and shots, deworming, Lupine puppy collar and leash, and a care package.
Our females whelp in our large country kitchen and "puppy manners" are started immediately by mom and soon followed up by Laurie. We crate train and start with beginning potting training...a great start for your new pup!

High quality breeder! Not only does Laurie do all the appropriate clearances, she socializes the puppies well. Our new pup, Winston, has an amazing temperament. He’s is great with other dogs and humans and has adjusted to new situations with ease (car and crate).Highly recommend Laurie!

Laurie Henderson brings out the best in the Labrador breed. I have one of hers and have had many others but I will be going back to Laurie when I am ready for another - no question! Their health is top notch, their manners and training even at 8 weeks is remarkable, they are robust, athletic and sweet. Laurie has created a warm and loving environment and breeds her own mamas sparingly so we all know what is in the line and what to expect. These pups are the best - ????????????

We have two beautiful Labrador Retrievers from Laurie at Thistle and That Farm. Our first is Ziggy, a black lab male who is 4 years old. The second is little Lenny, a 11 week old male yellow lab. Our experience has been nothing short of superb with Thistle and That farm. Laurie is amazing to work with and really knows her dogs in and out. I’m grateful to have found such a great breeder.
