Salt Creek Griffons - Nebraska Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Breeders

If there is anyone out there who is looking for a dog to be both a great companion and a great hunter, look no further. I have owned both German Shorthairs and German Wirehairs and my Griffon easily exceeds their abilities in the field and once she is at home she goes right back to being our family pet.
I decided to go with a Griffon because I have two young children and I heard that they were great with kids. Our girl Griff Izzy is three years old now and she has a wonderful temperament. I have never heard her growl, she even gets along with our two cats.
When we purchased Izzy our experiences with Jeff and Sarah was great. We live far away, but they were willing to send pictures when ever we asked so we felt like we got to be part of their first few weeks of life. They also did a great job of describing each dogs personality and once we decided on our puppy they started using the name we selected and even started basic training.
I would highly recommend this breed and this breeder to anyone looking for a puppy.

We have a female pup from the Spring 2011 litter.
She has the best temperament of any dog we've ever had.We have three kids and she is great with them. She is very eager to learn commands. Her shedding has been minimal - if any - which I love b/c when she is not hunting she is a house dog.
Sarah and Jeff have done a great job - they care about each pup that is born. I love the fact that before we came to pick up our pup, she had been treated like family by Sarah and Jeff. Thanks!

We just purchased a female pup from this kennel and we could not be any happier! Jeff and Sarah answered our so many questions quickly and very professionally. We had been looking for a pup since last fall and everything about Salt Creek Griffons was very positive and we moved quickly. This an excellent breeder with family values. We were very happy with our pup last year. (Female Grif) The pup is very docile and has great temperament. I have had her on some Quail and she shows natural instinct to point. We where also able to speak to their vet prior to the purchase which was re-assuring when purchasing without being able to see the pup. She was very clean and well kept when she arrived at Philadelphia airport. No odors or mess.

I also had her flown from NE to PA and they were very helpful through the entire process.

If I didn't already have two dogs, I would be picking a pup from this litter.
