Diamond K - Nebraska Pudelpointer Breeders
About Diamond K
My name is Hoyt Kraeger I am 22 years old and A student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, GO Huskers! When I was 16 years old my dad, Bump Kraeger, bought me a pudelpointer puppy from Bob Farris of Cedarwood's. I named this puppy Molly (Cedarwood's First Trophy). Molly and I with no experience joined the Heartland NAVHDA Chapter which met in Iowa and began preparing for the Natural Ability Test. I trained Molly completely on my own. We had help from a training day with the NAVDA chapter but everything else we did on our own. When it came to testing day I was very nervous and even told Dad that we needed to be ready for the next test. At the end of the day I was surprised and Molly received a 112 NA score. We were then featured as a cover story for the NAVDA's Magazine Versatile Hunting Dog. The next few years took me on the path of College and Rodeo, meaning I never took the time to test Molly again. This last fall (2014) we had our first litter with Molly she had 9 puppies. We sold the pups and they are just now beginning to get NA scores of their own. We know that we currently have one tested and Diamond K Ivy received a 112! These really are the Dogs for any Age, Skill Level or Family Status. Molly stayed in the house with us from the beginning, I am the oldest of three boys so in our little house we were 16, 14, and 10. With newborn cousins that would join us on occasion. I never had to worry about Molly being too aggressive to be around the family. Please give me a call and reserve a pup from our up-comming litter.
