About Old Timer Working Gun Dogs
I have been breeding Labrador Retrievers for 25 years. I am an avid bird hunter. All of my breeding stock are tested for EIC, CNM, and PRA. They are also OFA'd hips/elbows. All of my pups are guaranteed for 2 years of any hereditary disease. I am known for producing mellow working dogs, which makes them a joy to train and a welcome companion in the house or on the trail. My dogs also have the pointing gene, which is an added bonus. Montana Tana II was born on October 18, 2005 we adopted her from a family in Virginia, 8 years ago! Yesterday we celebrated her 15th birthday and she is still with us present in this earth!!! She is the most amazing yellow lab and we just love her like crazy! I am so grateful that she came into our lives and wanted to send y’all a picture of her! I know we didn’t get her as a puppy but we have loved her like we have had her the 15 years! I know she has stayed healthy and alive all this time to give us the 7 years that we didn’t own her yet! We love her and wanted to thank y’all for making such a wonderful, amazing dog!!!!!

My female Lab, "Boo", was an unexpected Christmas gift from my nephew 3+ years ago. My wife was not happy. For 24 hours. Then I couldn't have pried the pup away from her. She has incredible conformation, well muscled at 66 lb.s, beautiful head, and is the absolute sweetest Labrador I've ever had. I have another Black Lab "Chitlins" 6 years old, and the two are joined at the hip. About a year ago, two red-bone hounds came through the property and went after our cat. Chitlins and Boo put paid to that as a team. Those hounds won't bother our cat again. I'd get another one from Amy in a heartbeat. In my mind, I got a pup worth far more than $600!JW

I have known over a dozen people who have purchased dogs from Amy (ourselves included) and we hear nothing but raves about her. Our 4 year old black lab "Rambo" is the most mild mannered 90lb beast ever. He is so loving and is great with other dogs, kids, chickens.

Not to mention that my husband (not a dog trainer) spent hours with him as a pup and older to train him for hunting, he out retrieves all the other dogs in the blind. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BREEDER!

I have been extremely happy with our new black lab Bridger who picked up at 8 weeks in June, and by mid duck season, was already retrieving on his own. His demeanor is wonderful and he is great in the blind. In the house, he gets along great with our 13 year old lab who had to retire this year. I could not recommend anyone higher than Amy Stack.

My family has purchased 2 labs from Amy & since we had WONDERFUL experiences we have referred her to all of our friends! The dogs were both extremely intelligent& had GREAT temperaments & we couldn't be happier! She runs a drade A operation while she guarantees against common lab ailments because she has had extensive genetic testing done. I strongly recommend her services and once you meet her you will see first hand what kind of opperation she successfully, honorably , & ethically runs!
