About Elk Fork Kennels
My son and I got into breeding German Shorthairs through our addiction to upland game hunting. So, as a result, we are a small kennel that breeds close-working foot hunters that are trainable, handle well in the field, and are excellent pets. Our two shorthairs, Jack and Betsy, are from the Hustler breeding and from Dixieland Rusty and Dixieland Luke lines. Each has completed three of the four parts required for Junior Hunter status in three attempts.
