Brown's Spring River Retrievers - Missouri Labrador Retriever Breeders

We bought Ace end of June 2013. I could not be any more pleased about this dog. Ace is the most athletic dog I have every seen. He hunts with great gusto and enthusiasm. Very good looking Lab and has a great temperament. Brown's take great pride in the pups they raise. Carla went the extra mile in helping me get Ace back to NE South Dakota, she shipped the pup with another buyer back to MPLS to save me the drive to MO. Ace is a full blown powerhouse of a dog and he is only 10 months old....would recommend Bob and Carla Brown to my family and friends in a heartbeat. If you knock a pheasant down in front of Ace and it is not dead and takes off running don't worry, he will catch it for sure !

We bought our beautiful black lab pup from Brown's Spring River Retrievers 18 months ago, and couldn't be happier! The quality of these pups is due to the careful breeding, impeccable pedigrees, and tender loving care they receive from Carla and Bob. Our lab, now full-grown, is the most intelligent and intuitive dog I've ever owned, and understands an incredible number of both verbal and nonverbal commands. He is perfectly proportioned, energetic, strong as a mule, and healthy - and has the shiniest, prettiest coat our vet has ever seen. I highly recommend this breeder, and would use them again in a heartbeat. Carla and Bob are conscientious, trustworthy, and just great people!

I have purchased 2 puppies from Bob and Carla and have been very happy with both puppies. Carla is a great judge of what to expect of the puppies. If I needed a quality lab I would recommend Bob and Carla.
