My name is Perry Wheat. I have been bird hunting since I was a youngster. There were many birds in South Mississippi during the 60's and 70's. I've been fortunate to have owned some outstanding dogs. I generally raise one to two litters of German Shorthaired Pointers each year. I've always had a love for a classy bird dog that performs well in the field and is a companion at home. I take great pleasure in hearing from former buyers that my puppies are performing well.

I have a 5 yr old GSP "Ava" out of Perry's dog Ellie. She is one of the best bird dogs that I have owned in 65 yrs of bird hunting. A natural at hunting, pointing, backing and retrieveing . And a loving member of our family. Perry is a good guy and honest man. You will like his dogs.
