Red Thunder Golden Retrievers - Minnesota Golden Retriever Breeders
About Red Thunder Golden Retrievers
Red Thunder Golden Retrievers is a small kennel located in Southern Minnesota. We average one top quality field bred and performance litter per year. We are avid pheasant hunters and tend to prefer smaller goldens that will hunt hard all day and excel in the upland field. Our pups have also done well in the agility and obedience world. We place an emphasis on sound temperament and good health and offer health clearances and a written health guarantee.
Our girl Dylan has been bred to James, this is a repeat breeding of a very successful and talented first litter. An ultrasound will be conducted the week of March 7th, 2022 to confirm puppies and if successful, puppies will be born the first week in April.
HRCH Highlands Virtue Mine Honour MH, WCX, CCA (James) x Red Thunders Girl from the North Country (Dylan). This is a very special breeding that brings together some of the best field and obedience bloodlines in the country. Both James and Dylan have all of their health clearances and they are available on their K9Data sites. These puppies will have the ability to excel in field trials, hunt tests, obedience venues or as your next hunting or family companion.

I got my dog Bo from Tim a couple of years ago. He is a fantastic hunting dog and a great companion. He has been flushing and retrieving birds since 6 months of age, all with no formal training other than accompanying my older dog on hunts. He has a great nose and is relentless on pheasants. He is rather needy, which is what I wanted. He craves attention and follows me everywhere. He wants to greet everyone that visits our home. I could not be happier with him. Tim, thank you so much for this dog!
