We got a started pointing lab named Bear(later changed to Gus) and then had him further trained and he ended up being the best pheasant dog I have ever hunted over. Found them, held them tight, jump them on our ready, he was amazing. Also retrieved some ducks, grouse, and woodcock over his years. Was great with people and other dogs as well.
