I have owned and breed Drahthaars for last 20 years. I ‘m only breading when ‘m going to keep one from a litter or friends ask me for a couple. Due to this fact I put a lot of effort in finding the best stud that suite my need. I'm am an avid hunter and I breed dogs that exceed expectation of any hunter around. My dogs had proven themself in any hunting situation. They will point and search as any pointer and at the same time their water work quality will exceed any lab retriever. Drahthaar will search for your winged duck not only go where it was send. My breeding is based on dogs being directly imported from Germany. The current litters are based in 75% om the German dogs. It means 3 out 4 grand parents are from Germany. Finally, my kennel is registered in Germany and all my dogs  come with German pedigree (Ahnentafel) issued by the German Drahthaar national organization (VDD). All pups come fully immunization, tattooed ear number and chipped. I offer training grounds and advise for new owners of my pups. Some breeders say that they try to improve the breed. What I’m doing in my breeding, is to preserve what I have. I do not ask for more in my dogs. They have it all. Perfect temperament, look and the most of all, the relentless hunting drive.
