This breeder was wonderful. We went down to look at a brown poodle and came home with a black one! He is a wonderful dog. He likes to go out and about and is very friendly. There is not a mean bone in his body. He is smart but sometimes does make decisions on his own and want to stick with them.I do not know if this is normal for poodles but he was a bit skittish the first month or so about visitors. He was fine if they did not say anything to him and let him come up to them, but if people bent down to him he would back off and stare. It was NOT aggressive in any way, just very cautious. He is mostly over that and is good when people show up.
Breeder seemed up on medical and vaccination issues and our vet says he is the nicest poodle he has ever seen. The groomer loves him and he enjoys going in to get clipped.
He is now five and has had NO health issues at all. If you know about poodles and want one, this is a breeder to talk with for sure!
