About Glen Lake Labradors AKC Breeder of Merit
My wife Gail and I are AKC Breeders of Merit. Our breeding focus is to sustain and improve the Health, Talent, Hunting and Field Trial abilities of Labrador Retrievers - in particular, Chocolate Labradors.
As an Amateur Trainer, Handler and Breeder, I have made all of our last 4 Labs Field Champions, Amateur Field Trial Champions and Master Hunters. Our Labs have qualified for 17 National Championships. Our current Labrador Stud is Glen Lake Chocolate Thunder SH (Coach). His Sire, Glen Lake F-One-O- Wonder (Voodoo), was the 2012 USA Top Chocolate Derby Dog. In 2013-2014, Voodoo passed 16 Master Hunter Tests for his MH Title and Titled QA2. In 2014, Voodoo was the #3 Amateur Male Chocolate Labrador in the USA. Voodoo now rides that âHighway in the Skyâ. He is sorely missed.
Voodoo's last breeding produced 11 healthy chocolate-factored black pups. Voodoo created near carbon copies of his lean burly self... Labs that are affectionate, compliant, deep muscled, biddable, intelligent versions of himself.
Scotty flew 223 Vietnam missions in the Phantom F-4D and also flew the RF-101 Voodoo for the Kentucky Air National Guard.
Coachâs Stud fee for Titled MH and FC-AFC females is $500; $750 for healthy untitled females. Females must be OFA-CNM-EIC-CERF-Brucellosis Clear, shots current, Parasite, Tick and Flea free.

In Coachâs 3-Generation Pedigree there are several National Champions including the 2014 NAFC/FC Texas Troubadour. Coachâs Uncle is Count Tyler Show Me the Money MH QAA. Tyler is a 2-time National Obedience Champion. In 2012, Tyler & Petra Ford became the first American Team to ever win the World Obedience Championship at Crufts, England. We have qualified five of our Labs for 17 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
