About Lakeside Kennel
We are a family kennel in Maine raising quality Weimaraners and German Shorthairs. Our lines include the classics such as Trekker, Hustler, Moesgaards, Wildburg, Essers, Dixielands, Crosswind and Unwillyn to name a few. Pups are home raised with children, exposed to birds from six weeks on, with water work as weather allows. Our goal is to produce family dogs that excell in the field.

We got our GSP , Bayden, 5 years ago in a pretty large snow storm, all the way from Rhode Island to Maine and back after work one day and it was totally worth it. Can't imagine life without our boy. Even at the local tractor supply a local GSP breeder compliments him. No health issues what so ever. Jim and his family were great to deal with and we will definitely make the trip back to Maine for our next GSP.
