We got our GSP from them back in 2003. What a fabulous dog! He is now over 14 years... slowing down but has a lot of spunk left in him!! Best GSP ever! Even though we weren't going to use our GSP for hunting, Kevin allowed us to get one of the pups because he had an overbite and could not be breed. I know that Kevin hated that Dexter could not be breed, as he was first-born and a male from championship lines. We got him (Dexter), and he has been fun to have around. A piece of work for sure! Thanks for all you do! The Lewis family!

Wow!! what a first class operation. Small and knowledgeable. I got my first shorthair 18 months ago from these guys. Wasnt really excited about a black shorthair, but Wow is the best description. Besides a gorgeous dog, she tested perfect 112 on her NAVHDA Natural ability test and a few judges told me under the table she had the best drive and trackin ability of the whole bunch (12 pups). We hunt upland as well as waterfowl. She'll retrieve from water all day and is already almost finished on blind retrieves. She s 18 months now and totally finished on whoa, here, heel, kennel, holding point and hunting in range. she pointed a chukar at 60 yards a week ago. I will definitely buy my next dog from the Coys. Kevin and Tonya are always willing to talk and help with anything. Thanks Coys!

After 7 dogs from multiple breeders over the years, Kevin's Blugrass Kennel surpasses them all. Our new GSP puppy, General Lee, is as sweet as can be and, even though less than 12 weeks old, she is already showing her ingrained pointing instincts. I can't wait till she grows up and reveals her full substantial hunting potential, but she is so darned cute as a puppy I almost hate to see it happen. I will update these comments as "Genny" grows. From now on, Kevin will be my first call when I need a dog.

Kevin's GSP puppies are amazing. I have hunted quail over fifty years with many different bird dogs. I was convinced that english setters were the best choice. My latest pup is one of Kevin's.She is very birdy, hunts hard, staunch on point, backs and retrieves. All this in a seven month old pup!!! I have been converted. Thank you Kevin.

Kevin sells some of the finest GSP's that I have seen. My 7 month old female pup hunts hard, retrieves great, and practically trained herself. She was so impressive on her first real quail hunt that two of my family members went out and bought dogs from Coy's Bluegrass Kennel. The next time we went out we had three GSP's from Kevin all on point in a staight line, backing each other. It doesn't get better than that.

I had looked everywhere for the right GSP. Before I purchased one from a kennel miles away,I met Kevin. A neighbor literally right over the fence. One trip to his yard while he was working in the kennel seemed to be worth more than two monthes of internet searching. I put a deposit on my pup Gus later that day. Kevin is full of information and training advice. Gus is full of drive, like all of the dogs I've seen in his yard. Thanks for everything.

Kevin Coy sells GSP's that are full of Bird drive. The two females that a bought are hard driving, easy trained, natural in all areas and come from him already broke on birds and shot.
Thanks Kevin for breeding the complete Gundog. These truly are German Shorthair Pointers.
