My name is Duce Williams, and my wife Jackie and I started our business after falling in love with the breed and developing a passion for helping others do the same. As an avid hunter, I was searching for the perfect hunting companion, and I’d heard that the Labrador Retriever was the best hunting breed in the world. After getting our first Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Derby we realized the Labrador Retriever reputation was absolutely true. What we didn’t expect is how smart, loving and family-oriented these dogs are. In purchasing Derby, we got more that what we expected, we got a new family member. We felt so passionately about our relationship with Derby that we decided that it was our duty to pass along our love for this breed, and give access to high quality Chocolate Labrador Retrievers to our clients, while removing the hurdles in doing so. In 2019 we established Bourbon Country Retrievers. “Where we don’t just breed dogs, we raise champions!” Our ultimate goal is to make sure our clients receive the highest quality Labrador Retrievers possible, while experiencing the best purchasing experience. We are located in the heart of Bourbon Country in Winchester KY which is smack dab in the middle of the Bluegrass State. Conveniently located in close proximity to I-75, I-71, and I-64, we are easy to get to and welcome our clients with open arms and Kentucky hospitality.
