Remington Ranch is a world class training facility with state of the art kennels and grounds. The Ranch is owned by Russell (Rusty) Baker and operated by himself and Jeremy Appleby along with staff. We offer quality bred Pointing Labs and German Shorthairs, with training and stud services available. We are a versatile facility breeding and training dogs for APLA CPR-GMPR, AKC JH-MH, UKC HRCH, and Tournament Hunting Circuits NUCS, BHU, BDC, UFTA. Training starts at $800 a month plus birds. We treat your dogs like our own with client dogs having the ability to move in and out of our climate controlled indoor/outdoor kennels. We typically will not take more than 10 dogs at any given time to ensure that our client dogs get all the time and attention on a daily basis that they deserve. We can not stress enough the importance of only having 10 dogs as it allows Remington Ranch staff to fully invest ample time into your dog each and every training day. We are usually booked out a few months in advance with upland and waterfowl training but by planning ahead can usually fit selected dogs into our training program in a reasonably short period of time. We offer outstanding Stud Dogs and Stud Service including frozen semen, fresh semen, and surgical breedings performed by 2 of the top Veterinarians in the country. Our frozen semen is currently housed in Abilene, Ks. Stud fees may vary depending on the Stud. All of our Stud Dogs have proven litters currently on the ground. We have several of the top Pointing Lab Stud Dogs in the country all descending from our Foundation Male, Princess Cartwright’s Remington. Remington ascended to and still stood as the winningest Upland Flushing dog in the National Upland Classic Series (NUCS) history until being dethroned by his son, RB’s Remington’s Prince Of Princes (Prince), in 2021. The National Kennel Club created a new title in 2017 to accommodate Remington’s accomplishments (Ultimate Super Grand Champion) with he and Prince currently being the only 2 dogs in history to meet its criteria. We also keep Remington’s grandson’s Rio and King at stud along with Ridge, another outstanding male that is Ranch trained and handled. All are staunch Pointing Labs. Between them, they account for over 12 National Championships, and over 20 Classics wins. We also offer a program where we will whelp your pups with your female on site at our facility for 7 to 8 weeks with an agreed upon split of litter proceeds after initial vet expenses and puppy shots. This also includes Remington Ranch taking an active role in placing your pups with prospective clients. We have an excellent track record whelping and placing puppies here at the Ranch Tours of the facility are welcome by appointment only as we like to assure our patrons that their hunting companions are in safe hands.
