three years ago i purchased a shorthair from hanshaw kennels. and in that time i have enjoyed the luxury of hunting behind a champion blood line dog.hunting him exclusively on wild western ks ringnecks.his first year alone located pointed held point found and retrieved over 30 birds did excellent trailing and retrieving cripples.his second year he is a tracking machine and is also great at cutting off birds progressing every time i take him out exceptionally smart and trainable.being a previous short hair fan the bast ive ever had the pleasure of owning cant wait till november...thanks chuck`

I purchased a pup from Hanshaw Kennels in late 2007, Star was just 6 months old and Chuck already had the dog holding point and fetching to hand. Star is now coming up on 4yrs. of age and is quite the hunter. I have had Chuck work with Star on two different training sessions and I believe she is one of the best hunting dogs I've ever seen. Star is ready to become a master hunter and she will be competing in the near future. When the time is right I will purchase another pup from Hanshaw Kennels. We bought a female from this breeder in december and this is the best dog i have ever owned. She is a family dog as well as a huntigm dog, she has a great temperment and attitude. This breeder has followed up on her with us since we bought her and has been very helpfull. Hanshaw kennels is where I will go for all my bird dog needs. Thanks chuck for everything
