Thanks for considering our Kennel, At SilverThorn Ranch we have owned, trained, competed, and bred weimaraners for the last 15 years. We have very high expectations for our dogs and do very limited breeding with our short and long term goals in mind. All of the dogs we select to breed are proven in field trials and as hunting dogs 1st and foremost. Disposition and health are also things we will not compromise on; we will not breed a dog that has know issues with either. We encourage anyone who is looking to add a weimaraner to their life to do a lot of research to make sure this is the right breed for them. This is a high energy breed that needs both physical and mental interaction to keep the dog and you happy! If you have decided that this is the right breed make sure you do your research on breeders. There are a limited number of breeders across the nation that are working to improve this breed for the field and we are one of them.
