About Northfork Kennel
We are a small kennel who raises high quality foot hunting German Shorthairs in the heart of Iowa pheasant country.  We use the best of American field trial, personal hunting and imported German field stock to generate our breedings.  These dogs are my personal hunting companions and no breeding takes place unless it is to produce a hunting dog to suit my tastes.

I have hunted with Steve's dogs as well as many of their offspring. Every one of them have been excellent hunters with solid conformation and a bit of style. Steve himself is a great trainer operating out of very nice, well kept, clean kennel.

I have hunted behind this Dam for 4 years and find her to be an outstanding dog. She works well on both pheasants and quail and has an excellent nose. She is easy to hunt with and finds birds that other dogs miss. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for additional information.
