Hello to All Reading,
This testimonial is one that should stick in the minds of anyone looking to do business with Liz and Rock Point Kennel.
We spent close to 2 months talking with breeders about females they had for sale...most were helpful but some details were unknown about their dogs, cycle, extended pedigrees, past pups, etc.
We contacted Liz in this past February 2009 about purchasing a started GSP Female for our breeding program at Bear Creek Kennels. After careful consideration and understanding of what we were specifically looking for, Liz suggested a beautiful 4 year old named "Fancy". She is out of the best bloodlines in the U.S.
We quickly recieved pictures and pedigree information on her (Liz emailed all within hours)Liz talked with us for about 3 days on and off until we decided that we would purchase Fancy.
However, another perk to all this was that Fancy was expected to come into heat within 3 weeks of this time. We wanted to breed her but had no stud lined up or researched. Liz suggested that Fancy be bred to her stud "Magic", whom is the direct son of NFC FC Rawhides Clown.
We were overwhelmed with the opportunity, and accepted.
Liz oversaw the entire breeding, got Fancy uptodate on all vaccinations before hand and cared for her until we were able to pick her up in Mid March.
We currently are expecting pups out of this breeding and we owe it all to Liz Carver of Rock Point Kennels.
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND, anyone looking to purchase a hunting or trial dog, to call Liz and speak with her. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
And if anyone would like to speak with us we are more than happy to talk about this experience, contact us as firstname.lastname@example.org or 319-329-9973.
Thanks again Liz, for everything!

Lucy, a liver GSP, was a gift to me from my father four years ago. At the time, I was a single mom (who had hunted only a few times) raising a four year old. While we actually went to Rock Point to look at a different pup; Lucy caught my eye, and then our hearts! From day one, she has been an invaluable addition to our family!
She and I learned to hunt together and even though I was a novice, she had so much natural hunting ability that mistakes were forgiven and she has still turned out to be a crowd pleaser anywhere we hunt-including preserves near home, Kansas for pheasant and quail, and Texas and Oklahoma for quail! She is a natural retriever (retrieving a wild turkey chick to me, unhurt, on our first day home!) respectful backer, and stylish pointer!
Now, four years later, she has helped my youngest daughter learn to walk, danced the kitchen floor innumerable times with my oldest daughter, run hundreds of miles as my running partner and protector, traveled the country to chase birds, and helped "raise" and train several other bird dogs for family and friends.
She actually has a kennel in the yard, but it's just for show, as she belongs in the house with the rest of us! She has been such a joy and I thank Bob and Liz for being such conscientious and caring breeders! Without them and Rock Point Kennel, our lives wouldn't have been enriched by this loving, beautiful, obedient, bird-crazy angel!

I give a huge thank you to Liz and Bob for the awesome job they did raising and training Cotton (Rock Point Chief Cotton). Cotton, an English Pointer, and I have been best buds since day 1 when I met him at the kennel. I now guide with him in central Indiana (High Cotton Guide Service)on Upland birds and we even flushed our first Grouse this week-what cool sight. He is a birdin' retrievin' machine and every hunter we guide is amazed at how friendly he is. Thanks again, Larry Owen, Indianapolis, 317-519-8410.

I purchased Annie, an English Setter who is in her third year of hunting birds as Oct '07. She is absolutely the best bird dog and friend I've ever had. She is so smart and such a great companion. Thank you for allowing her to be with me. Larry

I recently purchased a brit pup from Rock Point. She is already pointing at ten weeks and is a natural retriever. She is great with the kids and I can't wait to get her on wild birds this fall.
I also had a German Shorthair from Rock Point named Meko. I have never seen a dog with more intelligence, style and natural hunting ability than him. He holds points like a rock, holds until shot and outhunts all the dogs around him.
