Kelakye Goldens - Illinois Golden Retriever Breeders

My husband and I have raised, trained, and shown goldens since 1991.  All of my dogs are novice trained and novice handled through each title.  Our passion is hunt tests, but we also compete in the obedience ring as time allows.  We are active members of the Golden Retriever Club of Illinois and Golden Retriever Club of America.  My husband and I coordinate the GRCI hunt test each spring at the Des Plaines Wildlife Area in Wilmington, IL.  We are passionate about breeding sound, healthy puppies to ensure the future of our breed.  All of our dogs have eye, hip, heart, elbows, PRCD, PRA-1, PRA-2 and thyroid clearances prior to breeding.
