She is out of Knierim's Yeller Duke and Hobbs C.J. To give you just a little idea of the kind of stock Lucy comes from. The 1st. year of Duke's hunting career, he treed 105 by himself his 1st. season. He then went on to produce some truly amazing dogs. Hobb's C.J. is a exceptional coon and squirrel dog. She scent hunts, she runs with her nose in the wind like a bird-dog. C.J. screens the trees and limbs, looking from game. She has been and is one of the greatest building blocks of our breeding program.
Now Lucy is carrying on a new generation of these great dogs. We knew Lucy was special when she caught and killed her 1st. squirrel at the young age of 10 weeks old. She is doing what comes natural to her. Running, catching, treeing and killing all kinds of game. Not only is Lucy a tremedous hunting dog, she is also a loving and protective family dog. She has even foiled a attempted burglary on the Bottrell family. Help the jail two wanted felons. Lucy truly is the total package. And as for the daddy(Knierim's Super Trooper), he is simply a game-getter deluxe. Trooper is now passing his wonderful traits on to his puppies.
