Whispering Oaks Chesapeakes - Florida Chesapeake Bay Retriever Breeders

Whispering Oaks is located on Florida's Gulf Coast in North Port. a. We have had Chesapeakes since 1999 and had our first litter 19 years ago. We are active members of the American Chesapeake Club, Central Florida Hunting Retrieving Club, the Mid Florida Sporting Dog Association and Chesapeake Bay Retriever Relief and Rescue. We show our dogs in conformation, obedience, dock diving and hunt tests. We do not breed often but breed to give something back to ourselves and to give something back to the breed. Our dogs are of sound temperament, have the required health clearances and are raised as a part of our family. Our hunt trainer is Eddie Rodriguez of Powerline Retrievers. Our current litter was born on February 4, 2026 and will be ready to go to their new homes on April 4,2026
