We purchased our setter back in 2009 and couldn’t be happier to have him in our family. Such a smart dog and easy to train. Great with our kids and fun in the field hunting as well.

I purchased a female 10 yrs a go .She was one of the best baby I ever had . Unfortunately I lost her with brain tumor she started having seizures and there was nothing that could be done. My heart was broken and still is . She was daddies baby girl and went everywhere with me. I had her cremated and she will be buried with me when I pass . I miss her everyday

I have purchased 2 dogs from right red wing kennels after much research and I have never had any problems potty training was super easy never had any problems with chilling never had any problems with accidents in the house dogs are completely for Li non aggressive always ready to play and super great at the dog park or whatever you wanna do great for trail running and they love to Chase chipmunk's squirrels and anything they can get their hands on absolutely recommends red wing kennels even if it's just a home pats as opposed to a hunting dog I would never have another type of dog other than my Irish and I have had 2 and I'm looking for a 3rd they are absolutely the best dogs in the world very affectionate even though they're very verbal they talk and they listen and they speak like humans and they are absolutely the best thing in the world I can't say enough about them you should definitely get one of their dogs they're beautiful and everyone comments on them my current dog hunter is considered to be the cassonova of our gated community and the dog park and everywhere we go people just look at him and say hes very Majestic looking he is absolutely my best friend in life and he is a fabulous dog

If you want the smartest, most loving and loyal companion, look no further than Redwing Kennel. Jean really cares about her dogs and is a very responsible breeder. If you just read the testimony, everyone LOVES their Redwing pups! We got our Red & White, Redwing Ronan 11 years ago and he was the best friend anyone could ask for. Easy to train, compassionate, loyal and ZERO health problems up until the time he was 11 (he was stricken with bone cancer and passed away). That's something that is rare and by chance though - an act of God. We are so sad for the loss of our baby but are excited to get another sweet boy from Jean. We brought Dexter home to Indiana with us in May of 2013. He was 8 weeks old. We bonded on the 6+ hour drive home, and he's become a vibrant member of the family ever since. Friendly, energetic, and biddable, Dex is the best!

I have had setters for more than 45 years, and purchased my last "baby" from Redwings in 2005. He was soooooo easy to train. We NEVER had an accident in the house, even when he was only 6 weeks old. I brought home this little 6# ball of fur that is healthier, smarter, and loves to "work" as my medical companion. I have a neuro disorder, diagnosed in 2010. Brogan senses the changes, and will either not leave my side, or goes to get someone to help if he thinks I need it. He is a bit mommy obsessed, but who says that HAS to be bad? :) He has put himself between me and danger more than once without questioning it.

Jean's care of her pups cannot be doubted. The heated barn they were in was clean, plenty of food and fresh water, and she has people who help socialize the pups until they go to their new homes. I can't wait to add another one of her pups to my family once we move :)

I have purchased 4 Setters from Jean over a 20 year span. I have loved all my Redwings they are wonderful hunters, companions and family members. I raised my children with them and now my children own Redwing setters. They live long and healthy. They are easy to train. I have owned 2 reds and 2 red & whites. One daughter has Redwing reds and the other daughter has Redwing Red & Whites.
My grandson is starting to hunt with me maybe a Gordon this time as a present for him.
