While I have not personally owned any PalmGlade dogs,I have trained many of them. They have been of the highest quality. I cannot remember any that have broken easily and well. If I were going to have a GSP this is where it would come from.

Bought a male pup out of the Sonny & Sally litter
couldn't be more pleased. "Hank" is about 31/2 mos. old and doing great, he is a duel quality pup. Would love to have another one but my kennel is full.

Sweet Willie is the first pointer we got from Cheryl and Mark. He is 10 months, smart, energetic and handsome!! He is lovable and has a great disposition. He to, like all the other pups, wants to whatever we do. He is full of energy and can run for miles! He gets his workout on some cleared land near our house. He will be taken in the Alabama woods for the first time this week.

Five years ago we got James Ewell Brown Stuart (J.E.B.) from Cheryl and Mark. He has made one awesome bird dog. He is also a great house dog and family member. There isn't enough space to tell how much we love J.E.B, but we now have our second Palm Glades Shorthair, Stella, who is already part of the family. J.E.B. and Stella immediately became "bestest buddies" and Stella is going to be a great understudy for J.E.B. Both dogs are GREAT with kids and great in the house as well as the field. Mark and Cheryl are super folks and their dogs are a reflection of their love and dedication to their work.

My Palmglades shorthair, is one of the best young dogs I have coming up. He has good mind and is very trainable. Mark and Cheryl are great to work with.

My first shorthair was bought through a newspaper ad...and despite the odds she was great...a good pet and hunter. I was involved with the Atlanta German Shothaired Pointer club for a number of years with my first dog and got to know Mark & Cheryl Brent during that time. When it came time to bring another shorthair into the household, I turned to Mark & Cheryl because I knew they always had careful breedings and took the time to socialize their pups from the time they're tiny. Our pup (Rosie, ~10 months now) has been all that I had hoped for...from her budding, but inherent bird instincts to a loving nature...we couldn't be happier. Rosie's breeding is of field champions, so she has a lot of energy. We don't live on a large property, so I take her to the acres of undeveloped commercial property that is within a few miles of our home. During her workouts she proves to me on a regular basis that she'll be a great hunter and a potential contender for field trials and hunt tests. In the house she loves to be in contact with "her people." That is the trait and the real bonus of well bred shorthairs...a workhorse in the field and a pal for the family. She's also one of the best looking shorthairs I've known for some time. Although we're not necessarily interested in the dog shown scene, I think Rosie would do well in the ring. I knew making a choice from a litter of pups from Palm Glades would be a safe bet for a great dog...we weren't disappointed!

Palm Glades Shameless Shroeder is our ten month old GSP male from Palm Glades Shorthairs. We had reserved a pup and we received regular updates and pictures as soon as the litter was born.
We are very proud of our pup. He is intelligent, athletic and intense. He's 100% into whatever he's doing. Shows evidence of a really good nose, loves to retrieve and wants to be with you whatever you're doing. (Did I mention that he is a beautiful dog?)
This is a very high energy dog. He needs to run and exercise regularly. We live on a farm and he gets to run a lot so that is fine. I should add that he loves to run but he does not run away, he stays in contact and always comes when called. He is interested in whatever you are doing.
Our experience with Palm Glades and the Brents has been very pleasant. We believe we have a very high quality dog and they are wonderful people to deal with.
Sincerely,
Jim and Kathryn Kay
