Thank you, we contacted Tami through this site. The puppy, Coco Chanel, born April 15. She is BEAUTIFUL. We visited from Branford, FL once before taking her home on June 1. Coco is very friendly and active. She plays with toys, balls, rope and squeaky toy. She started to bark, also. We are very happy with our new baby. Thank you, Sue and William Stringer

We got our gsp from Hunter Heights almost two years ago. We couldn’t possibly be happier, it was the best decision ever. Our girl (June) is amazing, she is an incredible and very talented bird dog that required very little training. She was just so intuitive with hunting. She is also a very loved family dog, she is our two year old son’s best friend. All around the best dog I’ve ever had. Tammy and her husband are incredible and still stay in contact with us, the dogs are raised and kept in a home setting and are extremely well taken care of and loved before being placed in homes and it shows!!
We visited Tammy’s facility and the dogs multiple times before taking June home (yes, we drove 9 hours several times to make sure everything was on the up and up) We wouldn’t get a gsp from anyone else. Before getting a dog definitely do your homework!! And once you do you’ll end up at Tammy’s too !!!
Thank you guys for our pup,
Love, Hahner family

I bought my GSP pup in November 2017. He is almost 10 months now and is sooo smart. At 20 weeks old he would go to kennel on command, sit, heel and lay down. He now performs a walking heel and will down when told and I can keep walking away. He won’t move until called. He is very full of energy as this breed is a bird dog but long as he gets his running in he calms down some. We are currently working on retrieving and hope to have a good bird dog soon. Just remember while doing any training...5 or 10 min at a time then give them a break. They are smart but can lose attention quickly if you bore them to death. Thank you hunter Heights for my dog!

Hunter Heights was a super clean 5 star facility. Every aspect of our purchase was so professional. We picked our puppy when she was just 1 week old and the owner/breeder of Hunter Heights (Tami) was kind enough to send us weekly updated pictures until she was old enough for us to bring home. Our family would highly recommend Hunter Heights to anyone interested in a GSP. The puppy we purchased was very lovingly cared for, given her first puppy shots & wormed and was very well socialized having received individualized attention every day. The instructions given to us by Hunter Heights/Tami was very helpful. We look forward to our next purchase in the near future. We cant wait to add another GSP to our family from Hunter Heights/Tami in the near future.

Tami was so wonderful to work with! Our GSP Rue is now about a year and a half, and we absolutely adore her. She is a total lover, with a great disposition to love any and all things. She takes commands well, and was a quick learner! Tami was extremely helpful through the process, and answered any and all questions I had.
We liked her so much we're coming back for seconds! We'll be getting a second GSP for our family from her this summer :)

I was swindled out of money from a breeder on my search for a GSP. When we found Hunter Heights, it was the perfect fit! They had puppies available for the right time and it as a match made in heaven. We got our girl from a litter born on June 19, 2015. She has been the most wonderful dog since we brought her home. She is smart, energetic, and beautiful. I wouldn't trade Moose for anything. Hunter Heights was a wonderful kennel to work with too. I am so happy with the dog we purchased from them. She has had no health issues and is a massive GSP! She is a snuggle queen and wonderful with children. I will have GSPs for the rest of my life. Thanks Hunter Heights!

I purchased my german shorthaired pointer June from hunter heights kennel three years ago. She took little training to adapt to bird hunting & field trialing. Even amongst other bird dogs I am almost guaranteed to be asked which breeder I purchased her from. She works the field extremely hard every time we hunt her. The owner of hunter heights was very friendly and helped make sure I got the dog that was the right fit for me. This is her first year doing field trials and she just qualified for the Bird dog federation nationals in marhsall Illinois at the end of the year. I look forward to purchasing another pup from them in the next year or so.

I brought home my Daisy Mae from Tami in December of 2014. I was lucky enough to have the second pick from her liver roan puppies. Daisy just turned 1 on October 28th, 2015 and she has been the biggest blessing since the day I brought her home. She has grown up to be a stunning young lady and I get stopped by people every time I am outside on a walk with her. Her intelligence amazes me more every day and potty training and trick training was a breeze with her. She is the first puppy I have ever purchased and raised on my own and she is my very best friend! Whenever we go to the dog park, I get to watch her amazing athletic abilities as she laps every dog there. Daisy loves to tag along with me on my runs and is the perfect running buddy because she pushes me with her never-ending energy. Tami was absolutely wonderful and updated me when the litter was born, sent tons of pictures and was very welcoming whenever I wanted to come see the pups. I could not have picked a better breeder to get my GSP from and hope to buy a boy from Tami in the near future! Happy Holidays!!!

We purchased Roscoe from Tami in December of 2014, he is one of Laci's pups. Tami was fantastic from the start. She kept us posted on the status of the puppies with pictures and emails from the day they were born. Roscoe has been an amazing dog. He is so smart and extremely trainable. He is very eager to please and is wonderful with our four children, not to mention he has turned into an absolutely gorgeous dog. I would purchase another puppy from Tami in a heartbeat, she is truly a quality breeder and her dogs are phenomenal.

We picked up "Cricket" from Tami at Hunter Heights kennel December 20th, 2014. I wanted to share our experience over the last 6 months. First off, Tami was a real pleasure to deal with. She spent close to an hour with us showing us around her kennel and getting Cricket acclimated to us. Once back in town we immediately took Cricket to the vet to get her established as a patient. The vet was very impressed with Cricket's health and was complimentary of the kennel's care.
Over the past 6 months, we've been training Cricket according to Richard Wolters books/ dvd's(Family Dog, Gun Dog & Water Dog). After 3 short weeks of being in our home, Cricket was potty trained. Yes, there was an extremely rare accident, but that was only if she ate something she shouldn't have. On January 9th, 2015, I introduced her to quail wings dangling from a fishing pole. Seeing an 11 week old puppy point the quail wing was AWESOME!!
She's now 6 months old, and knows all verbal and hand signal commands (sit, lie down, stay, shake & roll over). We worked with her 10 minutes every morning and 10 minutes every evening. She's actually been responding to all commands since about 4 months old. My point is, she's extremely intelligent.
Cricket requires A LOT of exercise. 30-45 minute walks is not enough for this breed. Fortunately, we have property for her to run and places to go for her to swim.....which she loves. Yesterday (Memorial Day), she was retrieving her duck decoy in water, and responding to hand signals when she lost the decoy. We just started training hand signals 2 weeks ago. We hope to have her retrieving ducks by early teal season (Sept.)
Cricket is extremely protective over our 2 year old son. She does not growl or bark at people she knows, but objects she's not familiar with, or faces she doesn't recognize. She's never attacked another dog, but did get a chicken recently. We have a lot of snakes around us, and when she catches wind of snakes, she barks and makes sure we know something isn't right. Late next month, we're taking her to Alachua, Florida to have her complete snake avoidance training with Dr. Bud Calderwood.
Cricket has truly surpassed our family's expectations. My wife is convinced that we'll never own another breed of dog (she's owned 6 different breeds, including German Sheppards). In fact, we'll never buy a dog anywhere but Hunter Heights Kennels. Please feel free to call or email me with any questions. But, before you call, you should know that I'll have nothing but great things to say about our GSP from Hunter Heights Kennel.
Sincerely,
Marcus Perry
