Green Falls Hollow - Connecticut Portuguese Pointer Breeders

Our breeding philosophy is based on breeding the highest quality Portuguese pointers (perdigueiro português) that we can achieve by carefully selecting dogs with proven hunting ability, correct conformation, great temperaments and excellent health.  We use only the best stud dogs from around the world rather than limiting ourselves to local dogs in order to achieve our goals.  Our dogs are all CHIC-certified with multiple health evaluations.  We also DNA sires, dams and offspring.  Our dogs are registered with UKC and AKC Foundation Stock Service.  All our dogs are exhibited in both the field and show ring.

We breed very sparingly but will be happy to help you find a puppy or young dog through our contacts with reputable breeders around the world.  We also work with rescue placement for the Portuguese Pointer Club of America (www.PortuguesePointerClub.com).
