About Deep End Vizslas:
My goal is to breed the best versatile Vizsla; a dog that will excel in any arena but is still equally happy being my companion while I'm relaxing watching TV. All my dogs are raised in the house with plenty of human contact, as it is very important to expose them to many different situations when they are young so they become well-adjusted adults. My dogs are even trained on the treadmill, so when the weather is bad or work schedules don't allow, they still get the exercise they need.
My litter currently on the ground is from a breeding between Deep End's Run'in Upwind JH, (Maggie) and Clearidge's Gallent Grady. It is a repeat breeding that I did last year, and all of the pups from last year litter are doing extremely well. Both dogs excel in the field and love to run, but equally want to snuggle with their owners. Maggie had 7 puppies on 3/18/17 and they will going to their forever homes 5/14/17.
Deep End's Just Run'in Wild JH, JHA, ("Faith") is 7 years old and the daughter of Tess and Chance. She is following in her mother's footsteps, thriving in training for her field work and in the show ring where she is also doing well, getting Best in Opposite at the Worcester Shows. We will possibly take some time for competitive obedience as well. She is very smart, learns quickly, and is eager to work and please. Faith is a great house dog. She is calm, gentle, and super social with people and other dogs.
CH Shenipst's I Remember You (Ty) is 6 yrs old and has immense natural talent, drive and energy. He has proven to be the easiest dog I have ever trained, picking up each task quickly and without much repetition. He is a natural retriever and loves to swim and bring back tennis balls as well as game. In 2014 I took him into the breed ring, at his first show (which was a regional show), he place 4th over all, and at his second show went Best of Winners and received his first points, he continued, to winner over the 2014 fall and went Best of Breed at the Worcester show. We had to take a break because of family problems, but when he came back in the ring he continued as before and has completed his Championship. He has also been trained to run on the treadmill and runs with Jetta's owner, who trains for marathons. His Grandmother was FC/AFC Upwind Shenipsit Rebel JH who was nationally ranked in the top three of Field Trial Champions for 7 years. "Yogurt" lived to be 13 years and was a wonderful companion and hunter.
The grand-dam FC/AFC Cliffside's Run'in On Hi Test SH -("Tess") was a Field Champion and an Amateur Field Champion as well as having her Senior hunting title. She ended the 2009 spring field trial season nationally ranked #2 in Field Trial Champions with less than 100 points separating her from the #1 dog. She was working towards her Master Hunting title and continued to run and place in field trials right up until she past away November 2012.
The grand-sire CH Magyar's Take A Chance On Me CD, CDC, MH, VC - "Chancelor" was a champion in his own right. He held titles in four different venues, but he mostly held the "king of the couch" title in his senior years. He was still active and went for hour runs with the pack several times a week, as well as playing hard with my 1yr old pup at that time. He passed away in May 2012, just shy of his 15th birthday. He will remain my buddy who accomplished more than I could have imagined.
