To begin, we purchased a pup from Wingfootkennels. With in a few weeks we could tell thus was not your average shorthair. @ 4 months of age. He is already hunting and retrieving birds to hand. Chris incorporates a method called "puppy imprinting" to all his litters. See Gundog Magazine for the article "puppy imprinting. By implementing this method, Wingfoot produces a more proactive dog. Not shy and very easy to gun condition. The result is a very proactive pup from the get go. As well as, a animal that can take the sometimes harsh training required to become a perfect pupil in competition along with hunting. I'm so impressed with this young great looking dog. Thank you Chris /Wingfoot for helping me select an awesome trial candidate and hunting companion.

Chris @ Wingfoot took my Rouge pup from another established kennel and put a terrific handle on her. Her bloodlines were from huge running GSPs. Nat. Field Champs galore. I purchased my girl as a started dog. Within a few weeks I knew I was over my head. Two months after purchasing her she was at Wingfoot kennels for formal gundog training. She came back a well manneed individual. She is such a pleasure to handle and hunt over.
I recommend Chris for all your Pointing dog needs.
He also has tremendous stud dogs. This summer we bred to a nice stud from Wingfoot. The pups a phenomenal. Great instict, style and a willingness to learn anything. Do yourself a favor. Check Chris' rates. He is so very reasonable for the amount of time he invests in every dog.

Where do I start. I purchased a very nice field trial GSP pup. He had all the tools the breeder said to win in field competitions. I took him straight to Wingfoot @ 1 year per Chris' suggestion of the best time for training. 90 days later I had a perfect hunting companion. My boy hunted in range. He never would do r hat before. Chris put a handle"as he says" on my eun off pup. He was gun conditioned and retrieves anything I downed straight to my hand. He is also a pleasure in the home. Chris also teaches his dogs to not only hunt but house manners as well. Our boy jumped on counters, chewed everything and had no mind of one's personal space. Wow, what a huge difference 3 months made.
Chris,also trained 4 other relatives dogs with terrific results. We can not be more pleased.
