About Kimber Shorthairs
I am located in the foothills of the San Bernardino National forest. During the season my dogs run from Montana to Arizona, Hunting wild birds in wild places. In the off season we run trails To stay in shape for the upcoming field trials, hunt tests, and upcoming season. I currently have two females: FC AFC Kimber Ultra Carry MH - Kimber has had a great trial career, hunt test showing from the bottom (JH) to the top MH (master hunter). Her field trial career started off with winning almost every event she placed in and finished her field championship within 5 months of her first trial at just a year and a half old). She has also placed in hour stakes (NGSPA Championships) where she got a runner up and fourth place while on a hunting trip to southern Arizona. She has also placed second in the national amateur walking championship field trial. Kimber has produced dogs that have a level head, good looks, calm demeanor in the home and a showing in the field that is surpassed by few. Clean dogs with great personalities that are more than an owner can expect from an average breeder. Kimber Ultra Covert is a product of my first breeding: FC AFC Kimber Ultra Carry x GFC FC Kimber Tactical. (Tac) Kimber Tactical was a dog I owned for a year, he was an amazing specimen who never barked, growled, cried, and would sit an watch TV with you. In the field he excelled winning an open Major gun dog stake and his puppy stake the same weekend, under my anateur handling. He has went on to compete at the highest level in NGSPA, Kimber ultra Covert is the dog I hoped for, carrying Tacs extremely dark liver and kimbers roan, she came out with long legs, perfect for Hunting any terrain, tight feet, light body, and athleticism unseen by the average breeder. She was a natural and easy to train as her mother and father. We have two litters currently available!
