Champagne Kennels - California German Shorthaired Pointer Breeders
About Champagne Kennels
The Champagne line is a hunting line cultivated from Hall of Fame hunting dog, Quailrun's Roxy Roller. It is named after FC AFC Pate Pearls an Champagne, a National and International Field Champion. FC Radbachs Kizzy Kunta and FC AFC Wingfields Lucky Putney are also important foundation dogs. The Hall of Fame show dogs, Oxton Minado's Inga Von Grief and Minado's Parade Drum Major are part of this line. These GSP's are exceptionally smart & calm with sweet & loving personalities. We breed for natural hunting abilities, strong instinct & drive, cooperation & focus, conformation, strength & beauty. Parents have health certificates, and litters are dual registered with AKC and NAVHDA. We are an AKC Bred with HEART breeder. Pups come with first shots and vet checked. We currently have puppies from Champagneâs Sharp Shootin Starlight and Champagneâs Dapper Dan. Starlightâs sire is from the Sharp Shooter Line. Both Dam and Sire have pedigrees heavy with Versatile Champions. These pups are the best quality for this breed. You wonât find any better. Pups were born November 2nd, and will be ready to go to their new homes soon after Christmas. The next litter will be in 2021 with Champagne's Aurora Borealis and Champagne's Dapper Dan. Dan's pedigree is heavy with VC's on his father's side, and Buttercup's sire is a champion show dog of the Minado line, who also hunts. These pups are expected to be excellent hunters, as well as calm, loving family dogs. SEE US ON INSTAGRAM at GSP_CHAMPAGNE

I've had several German Shorthaired Pointers over the past 40 years and my current 5 year old from Champagne Kennels was by far the smartest and easiest girl I've ever trained to hunt and she's not just a hunter but a perfect family dog as well. I was so impressed I made it a point to make sure my daughter waited over a year until PJ had another litter to pick from and I'm amazed how the new little pup already knows her name and is 95% housebroken by the time she was ready to pick up. She's already pointing briefly on hidden Quail Wings and retrieving tennis balls after only 3 days of playing/training. These are Can't Miss Pointers!

I own Bullet and Little Joe, German Shorthaired Pointers from the Champagne lines. They are almost 3 years old and I can't say enough about this breeder. This is my second set of dogs from the Champagne line. These dogs are exceptional hunters, very loyal, smart, loving and calm.
