I feel extremely fortunate to have had stumbled upon Diamond B Kennels. I called Ken to talk with him about his last puppy from the February litter. I was apprehensive of buying a puppy that was nearly five months old. After spending a good part of the afternoon with Ken and his family, and seeing what a responsible and able breeder he is. I could not leave without the puppy now named Tess. Ken was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was honest about the progress (obedience) of Tess at her age. He made no claims that she couldn’t live up to. Ken is very patient and it shows in what great and well behaved dogs he has. His facility is clean as is his dogs. I couldn’t be happier with my puppy, and the support Ken has offered.

When we first spoke with Ken he presented himself as a very jovial person to deal with and welcomes any questions, he was eager to answer all my questions about his puppies and parents (Dam and the Sire). He was very knowledgeable about the breed, including health issues, breed characteristics, etc. He informed me of the genetic problems that Labs have, and that the parents of his puppies have none of these genetic tendencies. During our discussion about a Chocolate Lab he asked questions of me to make sure that a Lab was the right breed for our family and that we were the best home for his puppy. We were welcomed to visit the breeder's facility to see where the puppy was born and raised. He encouraged us to visit the puppy with our whole family. The facility was clean, well maintained and humane conditions. The puppies were happy, healthy and socialize well with people, even strangers. He provided us with advice and assistance in caring for our Lab puppy after we took him home. He indicated he is available anytime in the future if we required his assistance. We are an extremely happy household with a new young male Chocolate Lab named Ricco (rest of name still undecided). Ken is pleasant to deal with and I would highly recommend him and his services to anyone, especially Lab Lovers like ourselves!

Hi Ken,
Avery is doing great, and he loves to hunt. Chad can't even get out the door if Avery sees him come out in camo gear. He has brought in somewhere around 10 bird for his first season. Chad only got to take him out around 3 or 4 times, so I thought 10 birds was pretty good for his first year. No health problems, and he listens really good. He is somewhere around 70lbs. I have lots of pics and will try to send some when I remember where I put them...Hope all is well, and Thanks
