GERMAN WIREHAIR POINTER PUPS. Pups will be ready first week of July.
Agatha Vom Slaney-Vale was tested in the NAVDHA system for natural ability and at the utility test. She received in the utility test a prize II with 177 points. Senior NAVDHA Judge identified this dog as an excellent candidate for breeding due to its high prey drive and its natural gift to search for live ducks in the water chase them and retrieve them to hand. Agatha is also an excellent pheasant hunter, she will hold them on point for more than 10 minutes. This judge was so impressed with this dog that he convinced us to breed her. We indicated to him there were no other males dogs in Alberta that achieved this level of performance. Six months later he called us and told us of Max (Bone's Point Magnus) from Utah that would be a good match for Agatha. Max had achieved Utility Level prize I with maximum 204 points.
Subsequently we then performed all the requested health tests for hip and elbow displacia including full panel thyroid to avoid any hereditary diseases. All tests came back good from OFA. Similarly Max has also passed all his hereditary tests. Update: Agatha is expected to whelp first week of May, look for puppy announcement when they arrive.
