At ALWPG, we are dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Wirehaired Pointing Griffon (WPG) puppies from proven hunting lines, with a focus on developing exceptional hunting partners and loving family companions.
Our breeding program begins with DNA'd parents from strong field and hunting pedigrees, ensuring sound genetics, health, and temperament. The puppies are raised in our home as part of our family, where they receive daily interaction, socialization, and exposure to various sights, sounds, and environments. This early nurturing builds confident, adaptable dogs ready for both the field and family life.
One unique advantage of our program is our quail farm, Alabama Quail, which allows us to introduce the puppies to live birds and scent at an early age. This hands-on experience encourages their natural instincts and prepares them for hunting and fieldwork.
Each of our Wirehaired Pointing Griffon puppies comes with:
- Dual registration with NAVHDA and AKC
- Started and up-to-date vaccinations
- Regular deworming schedule
- Microchipping for permanent identification
- Dewclaws removed and tails docked to prevent field injuries
