My dog and I just went back to the rising Sun for the second time. Our experience was even better than the trip last year. The owners Bert and Jeff (father and son) bend over backwards to accomadate the hunters wishes. The land is diversified and beautiful. Here you won't be just hunting a flat field with recently planted birds. Yes, they will put birds out for you, but what I like most about the Rising sun is that THEY HAVE WILD BIRDS!!! If you don't bag all your planted birds they let you hunt other zones that have numerous wild (or escaped)birds. Other "hunt clubs" make you pay for all birds planted regardless of how many you find and shoot. At Bert and Jeff's place, you take home as many birds as you pay for!. I can't stand seeing a bird I payed for get away, it is like watching $25 to $35 just fly (or run) away. I wanted to keep this place a secret but, I figure Bert and Jeff will always find a way to fit me in if I call in advance.
