Submitted by: Allanta reeves on Oct 28, 2013Didn't really know where to start with buying my first full bread pup German shorthaired pointers have always been a favorite of mine. Came accross Hand farms GSP from Loris sc after visiting and talking with Jackie and seeing how they care as house their dogs I knew just from the way they were professional about everything and didn hesitate to answer back or invite you to come check everything out. Drake is now 3 months old and doing great according to vets. He never stops getting compliments. If your trying to find a good looking sc bread GSP Hand farms is the place to go. No disappoints will be found there.
Submitted by: Chuck White on Oct 28, 2013One of the best experiences I've ever had with purchase of any dog I've ever had! Communication was always timely and always very friendly! Just a side note, puppy is very smart and already several months ahead of normal!
Submitted by: Maureen Groves on Oct 21, 2013From start to finish Hand GSP is top notch. We spent months researching and looking for a GSP breeder and were ecstatic when we found Hand GSP. We wanted a good family dog. Our last dog was a English Pointer and we wanted a dog with a similar temperament. We got exactly that!
We did not have a chance to visit Hand prior to picking up our pup (6 hour drive)but it was not a problem at all because Jackie Hand made sure to send us pictures and updates on the pups during their first 8 weeks. Hand also has a Facebook page that I loved and still love to visit. You can always find great pictures of their dogs. We have now had our boy at home for 8 weeks. He is amazingly sweet and is learning new tricks every day!
Submitted by: Cody Stephens on Oct 21, 2013Our experience and Hand Farms was way beyond exceptional. Dale and Jackie know how to raise some wonderful pups. The week we picked up our pup Paisley (Liver and Roan GSP) she was already pointing. At three months she is so very easy to train and is very well mannered. The facility that the pups were housed was ideal in my eyes as far as what they needed. You can tell that this family takes a lot of pride in their dogs. If i were to get another dog somewhere down the road i will certainly be contacting Dale and Jackie.
Submitted by: Sarah Robinson on Jul 18, 2013We absolutely loved Jackie and her wonderful family. They really know what theyre doing when it comes to GSP's. My boyfriend and I got our first GSP puppy together from them. His name is Nelson and we adore him! He is 5 months old now and growing like a weed, already 45 lbs! He has a beautiful liver and roan coat, we get compliments on him everywhere we go. I definitely recommend Hand Farms for your next puppy needs, they were super easy to work with and I love the constant updates they give on the status of the puppies before and after. We will for sure go back to Hand Farms for our next puppy, Nelson is ready for a new friend!
Submitted by: Taft Stephenson on Jul 10, 2013Our family has had Emma (German ShortHair Pointer) now for almost 3 months (she is now 5 months old) and we are having the best time. Her disposition is wonderful and our whole neighborhood admires what a beautiful dog she is. We have started dog train and her breeding truly shows what an intelligent, sweet and athletic dog she truly is. Could not be more pleased and happy w/ our purchase from Hand Farms. Jackie and Dale - Nice work
Submitted by: Josh & Brittney Mays on Jul 09, 2013Our experience with Hand Farms & GSP's began as a Christmas gift from my fiance. She surprised me one afternoon with a road trip to the Hand's home. Their facilities were top notch and they welcomed us with open arms. I had many questions regarding the genetic line of our potential pup and wanted to view both parents. All of my questions were answered and I was invited to interact with both parents.
When our final decision was made to purchase our pup, we were kept in the loop the entire step of the way. Regular e-mails went out about the status of the mother and once the pups were born, we got weekly photos. Once the pups reached the selection age, we were sent very detailed photos of all potential pups and given the opportunity to visit the breeder for selection. We chose our pup on a personal visit and we couldn't be happier! We were given all his AKC information, a puppy starter kit and some clipped quail wings to get him started. Our pup "Porter" is very healthy and has exceeded all expectations so far. He was a VERY healthy and lean, tall 40 lbs at 4 months old and is full of energy and love. He has a strong hunting instinct and is already very knowledgable on most common commands. He is also 90% house broken and has yet (knock on wood) to chew up anything in our home.
You will not regret doing business with the Hand's. They are very professional and will go out of their way to help you make a decision on a puppy. Their animals are of high quality and are very well taken care of. My fiance and I were 100% satisfied with the entire process.
Good luck with your future puppy!
Submitted by: David Johnson on Apr 30, 2013Hand Farms & GSP's are one of the best breeders I have ever been around. They treat all the puppies as if they are part of the family even if they are sold to another loving family. They keep in contact with the buyers and also provide pictures of the puppies as they are developing. They are the number one choice for me and my family for any future GSP puppies. I can not wait to work with them again!!!
Submitted by: Jenna T on Apr 29, 2013It was a pleaseure working with Jackie from start to finish. We really felt like we knew our puppy from all the photos on FaceBook from birth til when we were able to pick him up! Milo is almost 11 weeks now and an adorable puppy. He will be a family companion dog for us and is great with my 3 boys ages 8, 5, & 5-- as well as our cat. He is training very quickly- such a smart puppy. Milo is a joy and a fantastivc addition to our family. I have already recommended Hand GSPs to many of my friends!
Submitted by: Peter Wright on Apr 28, 2013We recently purchased "Captain", our now 9 week old German Shorthaired Pointer from Hand Farms & GSP's. Our experience with them was fantastic and I wanted to share that. Dale and Jackie run a first rate business! We found the Hand's on a social networking site and inquired about purchasing a GSP. Once initial contact was made, we were added to a list for a puppy. Within several weeks we were contacted and told we would be receiving a puppy from their upcoming litter. We had constant communication with Jackie during this time in which she answered any questions we had very promptly. Through their website and social networking site, they provided us with weekly pictures and videos of the litter. We live approximately 125 miles from the Hand's farm so it was important for us to be able to see the puppies regularly. When it was our turn to choose a puppy, we were provided with numerous pictures of the available puppies and given ample time to make our decision.
Through their website, we were able to view the pedigree of both the dame and sire which was very important to us. When the day finally arrived for us to pick Captain up, we traveled to the Hand's Farm. Once there, we were greeted by Jackie and Dale who were very welcoming. After being introduced to our new puppy, they provided us with a tour of their facility. Everything was immaculately clean; the area where the puppies had been living was modern and seemed like a very comfortable area for them. We were introduced to all of their dogs and their living facilities which were equally impressive as those the puppies had been in. They allowed me to rub a towel on Captain's mother so he could have her scent at his new home. Dale provided me with quail wings to assist me in my training of Captain. We spent nearly an hour touring the facilities and speaking with Jackie and Dale. Needless to say, I was very impressed by everything I saw and the knowledge the owners possessed about GSP's.
Hand Farms & GSP's is a first rate breeder! It was a pleasure dealing with them from initial contact until pick up and they still regularly check on how Captain is doing. Their friendliness coupled with their professionalism was very comforting and we knew we had found the right breeders to purchase our puppy from. I would recommend the Hand's to anyone searching for a high quality GSP with championship pedigree. In fact, we already have our name on their list to purchase another puppy next year. If you are searching for a professional, high quality breeder whose facilities are second to none, Hand Farms & GSP's are the people for you!
Submitted by: Lyndey Zwing on Apr 23, 2013We have had nothing but a first-class experience with Hand Farms and German Shorthair Pointers. Jackie and Dale Hand have been so great throughout the entire process. The Hands have kept us updated with photos of the puppies and have let us know what we need to do to prepare and care for our puppy once we got him. This is our first puppy and we could not have asked for a better set of breeders to prepare our new puppy for the real world. I asked to visit the puppies before they were old enough to go home and we were welcomed with open arms. The facilities where the puppies are raised are spacious and clean and the puppies have a tremendous amount of room to run and grow with their litter mates. We could not be happier with our experience or our puppy and we hope to use Hand GSP's in the future for new additions to our family.
Submitted by: The Motleys on Apr 22, 2013The Hands are great breeders of GSP. We visited their farm and the kennels were amazing. They take pride in their dogs and farm. We are so very pleased with our pup. Our pup is 10 weeks old and is already progressing on obedience. It is very evident that our pup was well socialized with both people and other dogs. I would get another pup from them if I have the opportunity.
Submitted by: Roger Phillips on Apr 22, 2013Dale and Jackie are wonderful folks and they breed and raise very good dogs. Over the past several years, I've had the pleasure of hunting over a number of their dogs and have never been diasappointed with their performance. This fall I hunted over Brogden's Ty, the sire of the pup I just purchased, and he again did a great job, making it easy for me to want a pup out of his line. Saddie, the female I just purchased, seems to be a natural already and has all the qualities I was looking for in a pup. The Hands run an excellent clean kennel, their dogs are working hunting dogs that are hunt regularly, they communicated with me constantly and shared information all along the way, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a well-bred, intelligent, and hard-hunting GSP. I would have no qualms buying from them again or recommending them to friends who want a good hunting dog.
Submitted by: Victoria Stambolitis on Apr 22, 2013They were both, Jackie and Dale, extremely helpful with everything. They let me come visit the puppy at 5 and a half weeks old just to meet him. They posted pictures every week of the puppies just to see how they were growing. But that's just the business side of it, their dogs are some of the most behaved, beautiful dogs I've ever seen. My pup is only 8 weeks old and is already potty trained. Couldn't have been more happy with the process of how I got my dog, and who I got it from.
Submitted by: Daniel White on Apr 22, 2013We love Brody, our male German Shorthaired Pointer we got from the Hand's. They were very informative from the time of deposit all the way until pick up. Even letting my wife and I come see the pups and parents both parents before he was ready to go home. If I was looking for another shorthair, I would certainly call them first!
Submitted by: John on Apr 19, 2013By far best GSP/dog breeder I've ever had the opportunity to deal with. The pup was in great condition when we got him, also he interacts very well with the family. Another plus it that he already loves to retrieve at 9 weeks. I look forward to seeing how far this dog will go as a hunting partner and also a family pet. I wouldn't buy a pup from anywhere else except Hand Farms.
Submitted by: Margot Church on Feb 19, 2013Our experience was awesome. Hand Farms was wonderful to work with in getting our new addition. Jackie sent us updated pics of our pup until he was ready to come home. wWe would definitely go to them again when we are in need of another pup.
Submitted by: Rosemary Pavlisko on Feb 05, 2013The breeder is very caring and professional.
Their website accurately shows the great care and
overall wonderful quality of their facility and
the personal attention that the dogs receive.
Submitted by: Brock Stevens on Feb 03, 2013Very detailed throughout the entire transaction, from before the puppy was born all the way until the day I picked him up. Breeder communicated updates to me constantly and sent plenty of pictures. They have followed up several times since I picked up the pup as well. The breeder's kennel was extremely well maintained and clean. Great all-around experience, and I'd recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a GSP.
Submitted by: Mary Gianatos on Feb 02, 2013HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We have been beyond happy with our 3 month old puppy from Hand GSP's! We are surprised everyday as to how willing she is to learn and her natural instincts at only 3 and 1/2 months! They have been amazing to work with and produce great quality GSP's. Our girl's temperament is ideal and she is so agile and quick to learn. Thanks a million Hand GSP's for this amazing addition to our family :)
Submitted by: Tammy Fields on Feb 02, 2013Benna, my son's new pup, is everything he expected and hoped for. She is smart, sassy, obedient and fearless! The whole family loves her.
Submitted by: Jennifer on Feb 01, 2013Very beautiful dogs! I will buy another one day. :)
Submitted by: Suzanne Benich on Jan 29, 2013Our family purchased a 7 week old GSP from Hand Farms.
We had a very positive experience with the breeders. They were very helpful and friendly. We were given plenty of opportunity to visit with the puppies to choose our favorite. They then did a great job keeping us updated through Facebook until we picked her up. Our puppy was ready for us healthy, happy, and with all her papers in order. We would highly recommend getting your GSP from Hand Farms.
Submitted by: John Coers on Jan 28, 2013Picked up a 7 week old pup and already she is showing signs of a good dog. She is already pointing a wing, retrieving toys back to me and is not scared of anything which I like. She should be a good one for hunting.
Dale Hand and his wife who is the breeders was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good hunting dog, and they have several dogs to choose from.
Submitted by: Joshua Wofford on Jan 28, 2013I received my puppy from Hand Farms & GSP's on the 19th of January. It is an absolute beautiful dog and has already been showing some strong birdy traits. Everything I could ask for in a German Shorthair. Very Pleased.
Submitted by: Jessica on Nov 13, 2012We had a wonderful experience obtaining our pup from Hand Farms. We were provided frequent updates and pictures of our puppy from the very beginning. The breeders were very courteous and made themselves accessible for questions and gave excellent advice. We were very impressed upon our visit to their farm. The dogs were kept in a clean and healthy environment, were given lots of attention and affection, and seemed happy and content. Our overall assessment is that Hand Farms is a responsible, reputable, and caring breeder.
Submitted by: Trey Lowry on Nov 07, 2012Hand Farms & GSP's were awesome. This was my first time purchasing a GSP and im sure glad i found Mrs and mr Hand. They keep you with constant updates of your puppy and you could tell how much they really love what they do. I would recommend anyone thinking about getting a GSP please check with HAnd Farms first. Submitted by: Tim Dunleavy on Nov 06, 2012We were really happy with our experience with the Hands. Beau is a great dog! They made everything really easy for us and do a great job of sending pictures and updates of the puppies' progress. Thanks Dale and Jackie!
Submitted by: Beth Brown on Nov 05, 2012If you are in the market for a german shorthaired pointer, then I highly recommend Dale and Jackie Hand. I recently purchased a puppy form them and they kept me informed on the puppy's progress on a regular bases. Now I have a healthy adorable puppy that I would not sale to anyone for what I paid Dale and Jackie for her!!!!
Submitted by: Corey Sitton on Nov 05, 2012Hand Farms & GSP's was very proffessional and helpful in picking out my puppy Cooper. He is a beautiful dog with great personality and I'm sure is going to be a great bird dog. He actually pointed a quail wing on a string the night I brought him home at 7 weeks. All paperwork was prepared for me and very organized. Great Breeders...
Submitted by: Amy Brok on Nov 01, 2012We are so pleased with our puppy from hand Farms. This is our first GSP and she is beautiful and so smart. She has taken to training very well and while she is still a playful puppy she is learning to behave and control herself. She is six months old and we have not done and hunting with her yet.
Dale and Jackie made the experience of choosing and buying a dog easy and comfortable. They are always ready to answer questions. I would not hesitate to recommend getting your GSP from Hand Farms.
Submitted by: firstname.lastname@example.org on Oct 25, 2012I just purchased a puppy from the Hand's. This dog is absolutely a great puppy. At 8 weeks old I took her out in the field to go Quail hunting. She wasn't scared to run through the tall grass and was very adventurous. She also picked up from the older dog what was going on. She would honor the older dogs point, and wasn't gun shy at all. She wasn't bothered by any of it. Truly is offspring of two great dogs. I look forward to getting another pup again from this breeder. I've had nothing but a wonderful experience. Best wishes and I encourage you to purchase a dog from them.
Submitted by: Erin Timberlake on Oct 23, 2012Not having purchased a puppy before, we couldn't imagine a better experience. They answered all of our questions and communicated very well thoughout the process. Having weekly updated pictures was a lot of fun. Also, we loved having their papers available online and the other litters and dogs to look at as well. Thanks again, and if we want another GSP we'll be calling Hand Farms!
Submitted by: Stacy Dunleavy on Oct 23, 2012Beau is such a great puppy! He is learning quickly and very sweet! The Hands were great from the beginning and sent us update photos and videos until we were able to pick him up. We are so happy to have Beau and glad that the Hands took such great care of him!
Submitted by: Justin Rodgers on Oct 21, 2012Our overall experience with Hand Farms was fantastic, couldn't have been a nicer set of people to deal with. We were very well informed with our dog from the day it was born until the day we received her. Upon arrival, we were very impressed on how clean and well maintained their kennel was. The Hand's gave us great information on how to take very good care of our dog. Would definitely deal with again. First class.
Submitted by: John Lee on Oct 21, 2012A very good experience. The Hands are very nice folks and run a very impressive operation. This is our first GSP and I,m sure it will not be our last. Our puppy was in perfect condition as well as all the other GSP we saw there. We will go back without question.
Submitted by: Michael M. on Oct 18, 2012Dale and Jackie Hand run an outstanding business. Quick to reply to any and all questions I had, sent many pictures and updates of the litter and puppies, and even after I picked the dog up they have been keeping in touch to see how little Aiken is doing.
When I went to pick her up, Dale greeted me before I even was out of my truck. He was super nice, and informative. Their kennels are kept nice and clean, and it appears even their older dogs are taken VERY well care of.
All in all, this has definitely been the right kennel for me. I would, and already have actually, recommend them to anyone else looking for a German Shorthaired Pointer.
Submitted by: Amy on Sep 30, 2012We had a wonderful experience dealing with the breeder. They are a great family/owner with either sire or dame on site. The pups are handled well and are very even tempered and gentle, loving animals. We do not currently use our dog for hunting purposes, he is a loving housepet that does has energy at times and can lounge around the house and be content. When we plan on getting another dog to add to the family, we will be very inclined to purchase from this breeder again!
Submitted by: Jenn Jones on Sep 10, 2012After much deliberation (10 years worth of twin girls begging!), my family decided to adopt a German Short-haired Pointer. We researched breeders on the web and came across Jacqui and Dale Handís site. To our good fortune, they are located just outside of Myrtle Beach where my family vacations each year. We contacted Jacqui and Dale Hand and visited their farm. We fell in love with and adopted a GSP who is now known as Emma. Jacqui and Dale were very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We have only had Emma for two months but are already discussing adopting another GSP in the near future! Emma has brought such joy into our lives!

Submitted by: Jonathan Hatch on Aug 24, 2012After my experience with Hand Farms & GSP's I would like to say they are doing a wonderful job. I purchased my puppy (Clyde - 4 months old) a few months back from Dale and Jackie, and like one would expect from a breeder he was as healthy as could be (shots and dewormed - nice puppy folder too with records etc) . Upon arriving to pick Clyde up I was able to see all their dogs (they had many) and all of them were well taken care of and not neglected. Dale and Jackie really know what they are doing and are very nice people (I talked with them probably and hour that morning). As for Clyde he is a handsome black and roam pup, intelligent, and a strong desire to hunt (very interested in the quail I am raising). I really believe he is going to make an excellent bird dog. He is one high energy puppy and needs much attention which can be expected from a gsp pup as well as when they are adults. I would definitely recommend Hand Farms if a gsp is the dog you want and CAN HANDLE (not a dog to leave on a cable they need lots of exercise). Great people and they make it so easy. Make sure to get your deposit in early because their puppies sell fast. I definitely would go back if i ever decided to get another. Also a buddy of mine purchased two pups from them a few years back and they both are excellent dogs.
Submitted by: JERRY MONTGOMERY on Jul 16, 2012JACKIE showed a high level of professionalism she and DALE kept me fully informed with pictures and video of my girl (MOLLY) now 10 weeks old she is very birdy as well as she is starting to retrieve very well she also came from a outstanding pedigree her grandsire is ROCKING G'S UODIBAR RUSTY The first black@white GSP stud dog to earn any type of field trial championship He is also the winningest black @ white GSP in NSTRA History
I also highly recommend HANDS FARM
Submitted by: Mary and Brad Wise on Jul 09, 2012We had the best experience getting our GSP. The Hands answered all of our questions, kept us up to date on the birth of our puppy, sent weekly shots and even some videos so we could see the puppies in action. They always got back to us promptly ny both text and phone. When we went to get Bella they were do nice and answered all of the rest of the questions we could come up with. They are still a great resource and they get back with us just as quickly as before we had Bella home with us. I am so glad we got our dog from them, we had a bad experience right before where the breeder we were getting our GSP from had a dog with a false pregnancy. Oh and on top of it all, Bella is such a beautiful dog with so much personality and smarts; she is definitly a part of the family!
Submitted by: Kevin on Jun 30, 2012Dale and Jackie were fantastic to work with during the puppy selection process! They kept us up to date with photos and videos throughout the puppy's development and we also had the opportunity to visit their farm during the selection process. Dale has a lot of dogs and was very knowledgeable. Our puppy, Otis, has been a wonderful addition to our family. He is handsome, very playful, is picking up house training very quickly and is an extremely happy boy! I would recommend Dale and Jackie as a breeder to my friends and family.
Submitted by: Tess on Jun 29, 2012Jackie and Dale were absolutely wonderful to work with from the get go. They were happy to answer any and all questions about the breed to help us to get familiar with what to expect and how to best raise our pup. They also kept us up to date with photos as she grew and passed along all the necessary information of shots etc once we picked her up. On top of recommending the Hands as breeders, I would also highly recommend German Shorthaired Pointers. We have been thrilled with her ability to learn quickly and obey. And she is already starting to show great hunting qualities at 8 weeks!
Submitted by: Ryan Economos on Jun 27, 2012Nothing but nice and best all around experience. Very pleased
Submitted by: Brandon Sinkler on Jun 27, 2012We recently got our dog from Jackie and Dale and we names him Fritz and he is a very smart and energetic dog. He is very chill and a huge part of the family already and we take him just about everywhere! He n our 1 1/2 yr old female Yellow Lab love playing and wrestling around and he usually loses but sneaks in a couple jabs lol. He is also usually the instigator and is very confident and brave! He is very funny. Fritz listens really well already and usually lets us sleep through the night with 1 or 2 potty wake ups but he just whines and moves around and lets us know he has to go. We keep his kennel in the sunroom and he's really good about going to the door or coming to get us when he has to go! Very few accidents in the house, very surprising! He is flying around the yard and up and down the stairs in the house. He doesn't need much teaching or instructing and mostly figures things out on his own. We couldn't be more happier or glad to have him in our family! He is getting bigger and taller. He goes to the vet next week for a check up. I will hunt him gradually and get into the full swing of hunting after he is 1 yr old. He already points at stuff outside and played fetch with a tennis ball the other day, he is doing really well! Were very excited to have him and look forward to watching him continue to grow! We will keep in touch! I would recommend Hand Farms to anyone. The whole process was very easy and they took care of everything. Very good people and parents are on site. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Submitted by: Matt on Jun 22, 2012Jackie is the nicest person I know and her and Dale were great breeders. They sent pictures weekly of the litter, answered emails right away, and just was there for anything you needed. I would recommend them to anyone and will probably go back to them to get my 2nd dog.
Submitted by: Tracy on Jun 19, 2012Jackie was outstanding. From start to finish a completely professional and caring experience. Great communication with phone emails and photographs. My GSP is gorgeous. We picked her up and she has been ideal from the onset. Temperment, drive, breeding and structure. She will be a great bird dog!
Submitted by: Mike D on Jun 13, 2012This was an excellent experience for me. Dale and Jackie are great people and great breeders breeding awesome dogs with awesome temperments and great instincts. My boy, Max, is 4.5 months old and is holding steady great on birds already and he's got an awesome drive. Can't wait to get him out this fall! Thanks again Dale and Jackie!
Submitted by: Kevin H on May 12, 2012I have bought 2 puppies within the last year from Hand farms. I have had a pleasant experience dealing with these breeders. I would recommend them to anybody in search of GSP's.
Submitted by: Justin on Apr 22, 2012Excellent dogs, Very clean and well kept Kennels. They take pride in their dogs and puppies they sale. I would recommend them to anyone.
Submitted by: Walter Turbeville on Apr 16, 2012Jackie and Dale are the greatest! We recently purchased a German Shorthaired Pointer from them, from the start they were very welcoming and sent email updates and pictures weekly. When we picked her up, they had all of the paperwork in order and even had the shots that were given on a list.
My wife and I are extremely satisfied and recommend
them to anyone looking for a GSP.
Submitted by: Fred Mongelluzzo on Apr 12, 2012I have nothing but good to say about the Hand Farm. I received only excellent service and help from the Hands from the time I picked my pup from the litter. They were very informant and offered any help in the training of my dog. He is already pointing at quail feathers on my fishing rod and he tries to sneak up on birds in the yard, and he is only 10 weeks old now going on 11. I feel that I have made a good purchase. I rate the Hands as a number 5 in my point of view.
Submitted by: Doug Wise on Apr 12, 2012It was a pleasure buying a pup from Hand Farms. We received pictures, updates every week starting the night the pups were born; even a short video of the pups. The puppy was very healthy and conditioned with bird wings and children. Couldn't be happier with our dog or doing business with Hand Farms.
Submitted by: Tyler Winters on Apr 11, 2012Pups were up to date and in great health when we got them. Great facility and they were very nice people. Pups are only 9 weeks now and can already tell they have great instincts. I wont be getting my next GSP from anywhere else
Submitted by: Tim and Katie Solano on Apr 11, 2012Throughout the weeks that led up to us picking up our two beautiful GSP male puppies, Dale and Jackie made it a point to make themselves available to us for any questions or issues. As young Marines recently returned from Afghanistan it was nice to find a breeder as willing to take care of us and work with us as Dale and Jackie. Our puppies are now 12 weeks old and are as healthy and happy as can be. Both boys have beautiful markings and personality traits that compliment them as the newest additions to our family.
When we went to pick them up, we were given plenty of tips on raising them and training them to hunt from early on. I would HIGHLY recommend this breeder to anyone looking for GSP's from a happy, healthy background.
Submitted by: Matt Dalton on Mar 08, 2012Great to work with. Easy to keep in contact with. Will keep you up to date and informed. This was my first dog and there for the first dog I have trained by my self. It was extremely evident of the superior blood line in Jack and he has taken to training very easily. I am pretty sure he is a better hunter than I. The Hands are great people and there farm is a great place for the pups. Will go back through them one and day and have recommend to many friends.
Submitted by: doug sides on Mar 05, 2012Dale and Jackie were really great to work with, they even boarded him for a couple of weeks when we went on vacation. The male GSP we purchased has been great to have as companion and with just a liitle more work he would be ready to hunt. He is real birdy if thats a word and has taken to new tasks fairly quickly. Nero as we have called him is now 7 months old and has great muscle tone and just runs circles around any of the other dogs he has been around. He is unbeliveably calm compared to the write-ups that I have read about GSP's. He has his moments when he tries my wife and youngest boy but I would expect that from a pup even though his is already abou the size of his mom. Great experience with the Hand's and I would buy another GSP from them.

I was very impressed with the set up of the breeders facility.Dale and Jackie were very flexible and easy to deal with. A top notch operation. Would highly recommend. Very intelligent pup with lots of natural instincts.
Submitted by: Griffin Hewett on Mar 04, 2012Two years ago on March 28th my best friend was born. I got "Jake" from the Hands in 2010 and I couldn't be happier with him. He is the most incredible animal, I can't take him anywhere without getting compliments on how well behaved he is or his markings. Every time I take him around other dog people I am always asked if and when I am going to breed him. Not only is he good looking but also has one of the most natural points I've seen. He is great in the field, he will point and retrieve and is a whip at learning tricks just to keep things interesting. A friend of mine also got his brother when I got "Jake" and they are two of the best looking dogs I have ever seen. I can't thank Jackie and Dale Hand enough for giving me the opportunity to have such a wonderful best friend. They have been wonderful through everything and are available for questions, such great breeders to deal with. I suggest them to any and all people interested in purchasing a well bred, high quality GSP to be your hunting partner or just to take up extra room in bed at night!
