Northwoods Manhattan - whelped June 8, 2012
Manhattan is a handsome, evenly masked, tri-color dog with the deep brown eyes of his dam. He weighs about 44 lbs. He gets along well with people and other dogs. He craves attention and will stand still for (seemingly) hours as long as he's being petted or touched. He has a nice build and driving gait. Manhattan runs and points with a high, straight tail and has tremendous endurance and heat tolerance. He handles well and his current range is medium-to-wide.
Manhattan is well-started for his young age. He's been into hundreds of liberated and wild bobwhite quail in Georgia. He knows how to hunt and to find birds! He is steady to wing-and-shot on pigeons, backs and naturally retrieves. He is ecollar conditioned on both his neck and flank.
Manhattan has traveled, spent time on a stake-out chain and knows basic commands such as Here, Kennel and Find It. He has the drive, style and attitude to be an outstanding wild bird or walking field trial dog. Manhattan is ready for his first hunting season. Preliminary OFA hip conformation report is good.
Manhattan is a Started Dog and priced at $2,500.
