Great Lake Chesapeakes Stud Service - Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in Edwardsburg, Michigan - Great Lakes Chesapeakes

 The goal of the breeding program at Great Lakes Chesapeakes is to produce easy to train, durable retrievers at home as family pets, in the field as hunting companions, and working work that hunt/field title.  

We currently have two stud dogs that will be available starting in 2013. They have proven themselves superior specimens of the breed and exceptional workers. These dogs are available to approved outside females. Inquiries from interested owners of quality homes.

1.GREAT LAKES COMING HOME CAPT. BERT (Great Lake Tug x Great Lakes Morgan) D.O.B-8/21/2010. Hips/Elbows- Appoinment set Nov. 2012. DM- Pending. Bert is a large 95 pound brown male with a nice body build , coat and a beautiful head. He will be training in early 2013 for his Junior Hunt testing. Bert just had his first litter with one of our deadgrass/sedge girls and produced a whole litter of nine brown pups. Stud Service $400.00

2. HOPE SPRINGS STORM SURGE JH (HR Hope Springs Hush Hush MH WDQ x Tugboat Woods Patina WD) D.O.B- 03/10/2011. Hips-Good. DM-pending. PRA-Clear by parentage. Surge is a 85 pound deadgrass boy with excellent build, coat and blocky head. He comes from a long line of great hunt/field trial dogs. Surge recieved his Junior Title in the summer of 2012. Surge's goals are as follows-Senior Title and Master Passes in summer/fall 2013, Show Championship fall/winter 2013, Master Title and Master National Qualified 2014. $600.00

Those wishing to mate a female to one of  these studs should inquire due to both their upcoming schedules in 2013. A booking fee is do at time of breeding. Return stud service if litter is not produced is guaranteed to same female.
