Slick & Rising Son bred GSP's - German Shorthaired Pointers in New Ulm, Minnesota - Hillfire Kennels
Bella has been bred and puppies are expected the first week in November. Puppies will go to their new homes at 8 weeks old(around Christmas). These are very well bred pups with a lot of expected potential. Duke has been producing some very nice dogs that have a lot of drive, very intense stylish pointing instinct, incredible amount of trainability and desire to please. His pups have been really great animals to be around. They can really turn it on in the field but are very calm and relaxed when at home or in the kennel.
This will be Bella's first litter. She possesses many great traits that I feel will contribute very positively into my breeding program. This dog has a ton of drive and will do anything to find birds for you. She loves to stand her birds and since she was a pup will point a bird all day. She is very quick on the ground and has an attractive efficient way of moving across the ground. She has a great nose and knows how to find birds. I have been and will continue to run Bella in field trials. She has had a good amount of success at her young age and has placed and won some broke dog stakes at derby age. She currently has 7 points towards her FC.
We are now taking deposits from those wanting to own one of these fine animals. We would like them to go to serious hunting or field trial homes. These pups will be nominated for the 2014 GSPCA field futurity if there is enough field trial interest. These pups will be a great age to run in this stake. Deposits are $100 to reserve your pup. These pups will be $700 for a male or female. Your deposit will be credited towards the $700. Please Contact Us to make a deposit. Deposits are non-refundable unless there is an insufficient number of pups whelped.
