The sire of this litter is Brigand.  "Brig" has turned out to be everything his pedigree says he should be.  Fast, with a classy springer action.  He has an exceptional nose and the brains to effectively hunt wild pheasant.  His retrieving is outstanding.  Because of his bidability he was a dream to train and hunts to please me.  Brigs first progeny out of Ariane have proven to be first class gun dogs, many of which I have hunted over during the course of last season.  I am looking forward to this fall when I will have puppies in the field from this springs litter.  He is really passing on his great traits.   The dam of this litter is a young female named Echo.  Echo is a very athletic dog with a good nose and retrieving ability.  Medium in stature, she moves strong and covers well.  Echo has a very nice disposition and is always willing to please.  She is taking her job as mother very serious and is doing a great job of raising healthy, robust puppies.
