Yawn....life's tough when you're busy sleeping, eating, and being cuddled!
Ceil at the Chesapeake Bay with her granddam Puffin
Ceil is a young female, the only daughter of HRCH Hope Springs Dowry SH (lacks just one pass for MH) sired by Nomad's Sandy Point MH** a deadgrass Eastern Shore hunting dog. She's confirmed in whelp to a handsome light brown all age qualified Master Hunter, Rogue of Rainbow Farm*** for early October puppies. This is her first litter.
Ceil (2nd from right) and friends on a sunny September morning at Hope Springs Farm.
See pedigree below AND this litter will be dual registered with both AKC and UKC! If you hunt or run hunt tests, you won't find a better pedigree on any litter currently available: Rogue is the only breeding son of the late Dual Champion AFC Gambler's Dilwyn-Stacked Deck MH (all time leading Chesapeake field sire) that is OFA Excellent/normal elbows, annual clear CERF and genetically tested clear for both DM and PRA. Rogue is out of a daughter of another of the breed's top field sires, CH AFC Caroway's Wild Goose Chase MH***, Canvasback Gimme the Flyer MH*** herself also a master hunter and all age qualified.
Above: Rogue has a stylish and enthusiastic water entry; below, attractive head.
Rogue ran a limited field trial career, winning an Open 2nd when he was just two. He easily transitioned to hunt test training and passed 6 straight MH tests to earn that title as well. Rogue is a good looking, well-coated correct light brown dog, 90 lbs. and with a pleasing broad head with large, kind eyes. He's a happy, easy going fellow with an enthusiastic water entry and is sound and healthy at almost 11.
All Hope Springs pups are extremely well socialized, we do ENS along with a full complement of puppy socialization stuff to give our babies the very best start in life. We introduce them to swimming, birds, gunfire and fireworks noise; kids, crates, cars, decoys, calls, etc.
Below, Ceil with her first bird at 4 weeks

Serious inquiries only please--price is $1250; and we prefer working homes. Ceil is not yet two but received a clear CERF and her preliminary hip evaluation received an OFA GOOD even though our vet does not recommend xraying hips when a female is in season. This is her first litter. Email for detailed clearance/pedigree information and more photos; copies of her OFA prelim. rating & AVCO Clear CERF on request.
