Idaho Hunting Dogs is proud to announce a new litter due September, 2010 of incredible German Shorthaired Pointer pups. We are accepting deposits for this litter. Don't miss out!! Our 2 spring litters are all reserved. This will be the last litter this year.  We have one pup from the 2009 litter that already has her AKC Junior Hunter title!!

At Idaho Hunting Dogs, we pride ourselves on having a very conscientious breeding program. Our females are only permitted to have 1 litter per calendar year. Our dogs and puppies are raised in a family environment as part of our family!! All of our puppies are born and raised in our home to get them used to a home's general sights, sounds and chaos plus of course, lots of hugs and kisses. We take them outside as appropriate to run them around the yard when they are ready. These are definitely family dogs for the home that "turn on" in the field for an incredible hunting partner; however, we encourage some form of puppy social /obedience class for new puppies and their families. Our goal is to breed conformationally correct GSP's that are manageable, stylish, and even tempered with a strong desire to hunt, point and retrieve.

This litter will be between our Dutchess and Fritz.

All pups are pre-registered with AKC and come with a 5 generation pedigree. Parents are incredible hunters and wonderful family companions. Pups will have excellent noses and natural instinct. Both parents are incredible hunting partners and even better family companions.

All pups checked by our vet and given a written guarantee against genetic health problems.

Parents have had their hips/elbows certified by OFA and eyes certified by CERF. When you are looking for a hunting partner, make sure you know what you are getting. Don't just assume you are getting a healthy pup because someone tells you so. Verify it and do your homework!!!
