Sungold Goldens - Wyoming Golden Retriever Breeders

I drove to Wyoming from California 5yrs ago to pick up my Golden from Trieven &I it was a awesome experience, I was able to pick my own puppy !The facility was very nice.I bought a female from Abby &Timber &I she has been a awesome hunter &I companion, we hunt waterfowl 60 days of the season &I she is always ready to go! She is very good in the colder water of Idaho &I Oregon and has a great nose and always comes back with my bird.She is a awesome dog in the field &Is a great dog at home is one of the best things in my life.I truly recommend a dog ffomTrieven.

We purchased Redd (Sungold's Reddy-to-Hunt) as a puppy from Sungold Goldens. He is now 18 months of age and he has turned out to be a remarkable dog. Redd is extremely athletic, but he still very calm and gentle. He recently had his first wild pheasant hunt in Nebraska and despite dry, dusty conditions and very thick cover, he flushed every bird that we shot and we never lost a single pheasant. Redd is also a great swimmer and he is very comfortable hunting waterfowl in the marsh or on the river. Redd lives with us in our house and he is a delightful companion. We have had three previous field goldens and this is the first one from Sungold Goldens. We will certainly be repeat customers in the future.

I recieved my first sungold golden in the 1980's. We hunt ducks and doves almost through out the season. She was the finest golden we had ever seen here in Central Louisiana at the time. She retrieved thousands of ducks, geese and doves for 14 years and passed on at 15. Purchased another from Val at Trieven Kennals about five years ago. Her name was Bailey. She was able to withstand hard training and became a Hunting Retriever Champion at 3 years old. Everyone in this area has black labs but I prefer the loving disposition of the golden. Bailey was a tremendous retriever but was killed by an 11 foot aligator at four and a half yrs old. I traveled to Wyoming and met with the Bo Allen to pick a new puppy and am very pleased with Lucy, my 7 month old that is already picking up doves and ducks. Here in Louisiana we hunt and harvest a lot of ducks and I wouldn't have a retriever from another breeder. I highly recomend Trieven Kennels.
