Buckshot Retrievers has been breeding quality working Labrador and Golden Retrievers and have been training retrievers full time for 30 yrs. For most of that time I have been involved in training retrievers for hunt tests, field trials, obedience, and working hunting and companion dogs. We have trained numerous Master Hunter, Field Champion, and Top Quality Hunting Dogs. Our breedings have produced many FC/AFC,MH,SH,and JH dogs with both Golden and Labrador Retrievers. Our goal is to provide sound, workable retrievers that can still be wonderful companion and family pets. We pride ourselves on our ability to train and breed the best working dogs while providing the top pedigrees and health lines available. In addition to our training and breeding services we usually have started dogs available.Stud Services: Buckshot's Logical Buddy**MH - Buckshot's Logical Splendid Splinter***-Buckshot's Honey Copper Penny MH----For more info on these quality golden males and for pedigree info look on k9data.com or call or e-mail us

Submitted by: Barb Benedetto on Mar 06, 2014I purchased a Golden Retriever from Buckshot Retrievers from a litter born 1/1/11. I am not a hunter -- he was purchased as a family pet. His name is Murray.
About a year after acquiring Murray, I became very ill -- my spine collapsed requiring extreme surgery and a very long recovery. During recovery, Murray was my constant companion. As soon as I was able to walk again, I began Murray in obedience class. He was spectacular. As I recuperated, I was able to take Murray for agility and sniff & search classes -- he did amazingly well, both in performance and teaching me what is possible if you try.
I have had many dogs in my lifetime, and I can honestly say I've never had a better dog. He is smart, focused, even-tempered, healthy and the best, most amazing companion I've ever had. I could never ask for more.
