About East Harbor Gun Dogs

East Harbor Gun Dogs, located in east Grays Harbor County near McCleary, Washington, is owned and operated by John & Nancy Farrow. Before opening our doors in the spring of 2011, we had been training our own Labrador Retrievers over the previous thirty one years, primarily for duck hunting. In 2001 we acquired our first Pointing Lab, and began using those dogs for upland hunting as well. We have been breeding Labrador Retrievers since 2005.

East Harbor Gun Dogs is a small "hobby kennel" facility that will produce 1-2 litters of puppies every other year. Don't let the expression "hobby kennel" fool you one bit - we have some truly extraordinary dogs. Our breedings are carefully thought out in order to provide you the best experience possible with your Lab Puppy as a hunting companion and family pet. All Sires and Dams are thoroughly tested to ensure you receive a healthy puppy, and are backed by a 26-month health guarantee on hips & eyes. At East Harbor Gun Dogs we're very proud to make some of the best quality American Labrador Retrievers on the market available for your waterfowl and upland bird hunting.

We anticipate having a litter of yellow pointing Lab puppies sometime in the summer of 2012, and another litter of yellow (fox) red puppies in early 2013. Look for more litters from us in the summer of 2013 as well.

We eventually will provide dog training services and offer training birds for sale.
