Our dogs are hunters, and we prefer that our puppies continue in their parents footprints. We are proud of the Boykin Spaniel breed, and proudly promote them. We have added a couple of new dogs to the kennels and have updated our pedigree information.

Our goal is to introduce the breed to as many people as possible, and promote their hunting heritage. These little dogs are great hunters and great family dogs. Preserving these qualities is what we are about.

When my Golden Retriever had to be put down in April of 2009 I honestly didn't think I would find another great dog like her. I thought of getting a basset hound, but I knew I wanted a smaller dog. Eric is a family friend and my boyfriend was talking to him about everything when he suggestedbus to check out the Boykins. I met one of his female and just knew I had to have one of these dogs!! We have had Beaux now for about 5 months and I'm absolutely in love with him! He us such a loyal dog, who is full of character and charisma!! He's already retieving practice dummies for Clint, and he was very easy to train on the basics! He also reminds me so much of my Golden! I am extremely happy with this breed, and I would definetly recommend one of Eric's Bree to anyone looking for a loyal hunting dog who will also bring you a bunch of laughter!!

We had a great experience buying our Boykin Spaniel from Eric Anderson. He and his family were full of information about the breed and eager to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed all the pictures and comments they emailed us about the puppies since we weren't close enough to visit. We also appreciated them making an extra effort to meet us with our precious Ginger. She is so smart and has bonded with all of us quite easily. My two boys love her dearly and she loves chasing them outside. I can't say enough good things about Eric Anderson. From the get go, he was patient, responsive, and helpful in everyway. He sent me pictures every step of the way and shared with me any helpful tips for the future. When I came to pickup the dog, he was very proffessional and had even given her a bath. I just took her into the vest for her first checkup/9 week shots and the vet said she was very healthy and had a great temperment for a puppy. I'd recommend Eric to anyone who is looking for a Boykin that is healthy and loving. I would to thank Eric and his family for a great experience buying a pup. We were always welcome to come by and see the puppies before they were ready to come home, which really helped us in choosing our dog. Cutty is now a year old and a delight to have around. He has been a dream to work with, from housebreaking to retrieving; always alert, attentive, and eager to understand. I can hardly imagine a better companion in the duck blind or on the couch. With Cutty, having fun comes first, and he and Drake are having plenty of it! Keep up the great work guys!

Our one year old puppy, Drake, has exceeded all our expectations. Our primary goal was to have a great pet/companion and secondary goal was to have a duck retriever. Drake was and has been the best pet/companion you could ask for. I sent him to trainer for basic 12 week program in late August and got him back just before duck season. At almost our puppies first birthday, we wanted to take a minute to say how much we appreciated the entire experience of dealing with Anderson Kennels. They could not have been any more courteous or professional. Our puppy could not be smarter, funnier, or more loyal. Everything good that we heard about the breed is true of our puppy. We have hunted her only a few times and she did pretty well. The faults if any of her in the field were certainly not her's but more her trainers, namely me. Eric is a pleasure to work with, he is a man of his word, rare these days, we drove 2400 miles to meet his family and dogs, and it was worth it!
I would recommend Eric very strongly, Eleanor really has fire in her eyes, great bird dog. and Frank is a great looking hard working Sire. My dog Maverick has all the great attributes of both dogs, I could not be happier with Eric and Maverick. Looking Foward to hunting this year with Maverick!
