About Richland Boykin Spaniels

Pups born June 10, 2012.

All Placed, check back next year.

We raise a litter of puppies a year, and place them in homes where they will be both a part of the family and trained to hunt. Our breedings are carefully thought out to enhance the best qualities of the stud dog and the bitch. We have also had the following health certifications performed for Roadie: Hips--GOOD, Hearts--Normal, CERF--Clear, EIC--Clear.

For aging boomers who love to hunt, the Boykin is a great transition from a Labrador. They are a handy size (30-40lbs), and while they can't do everything the "big" dogs can do, they do a credible job and are excellent at upland work.

Roadie and her littermates have earned multiple UKC hunt test titles (we do not register our pups with the American Kennel Club). In addition to her success in Boykin Spaniel Field Trial events, her brother has won, been runner- up and named Gunners Choice in both Retriever and Upland events. Roadie's mother, HR Just Ducky's First Edition, is in the top 5 producing females in UKC history and has BSS placements to her credit as well. Roadie's father, HR Gabriel Maxwell of Buckhead excels in hunt tests and in the field.

Additionally, both dogs have over 5 generations of positive health clearances for hips, eyes and hearts.

Only hunting and hunt-test homes will be considered, serious inquiries only. Dogs must live indoors and owners must have fenced yards.
