After having hunted over some great GSPs for the past 15 years, I sought out the bloodlines I have had the best luck with. Timmy has been doing his homework to bring together some outstanding traits and bloodline successes, and the my most recent pup is clearly evidence of his efforts paying off. She is both a very spirited bird dog, great nose, and super confirmation. Additionally, she has one of the best dispositions I have encountered in this breed. Birdy, driven, great nose, rock solid points, and stamina to spare are all traits apparent in this very well bred young lady. We traveled from Arizona to South Carolina to obtain this pup from Timmy, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Timmy and keep it up.

When looking for a Brittany I knew I wanted it to be out of Nolans Last Bullet breeding as I owned one previously and loved her and her hunting instincts. A friend got a tip of a breeding that was done by Timmy Suggs in South Carolina but living here in Minnesota I thought how would this be possible. Before I knew it, I was on a plane going south to pick up my new pup Bella, along with her sister Rosie who is owned by a friend. Bella is a gift and only having her for six months she has learned so much with little training and pointed her first bird. She has brought much joy to me in just 6 months the trip was well worth it thanks to Mary.
Bella has endless energy, the drive to hunt, the love to give, and a look well see for yourself. I am looking forward to many years of happiness.

I picked up a GSP pup from Mr Suggs just yesterday evening. Mr Suggs keeps a very clean kennel, the records are well kept and presented neatly, not to mention he was a heck of a nice guy. We had the last female pick and she came out just as bold and fearless as any of her littermates. Mr Suggs' breeding came recommended from one of the most highly regarded pointing dog trainers in the country. I would not hesitate to purchase another pup from Mr. Suggs and I would recommend his breedings to anyone in the market for a good bird dog pup.

Back in the spring I began talking with Timmy about a planned litter and the more I talked with him the more I knew he was someone I wanted to deal with. He is honest, straightforward, and really knows his dogs.

Throughout the process Timmy kept me updated with pictures and videos, and when the time came to pick up my pup, he was extremely accommodating of my schedule.

Very impressive bloodlines in this little dog and he's living up to the promise so far. Smart, biddable, great around the house and a strong desire to find birds. I'll be back to see Timmy when the time comes for another pup.

I was able to be hooked up with Timmy last February by a very nice woman out of Virginia who highly recommended him. I ended up with one of his Brittany pups that was born in January. After initial contact, to picking up the pup, Timmy was a pleasure to talk with and very informative. His interest in the pups continues even after they have left for their new homes. This is the 4th Brittany I have owned, and now the pup being 11 months old, I am very satisfied with him. He is pretty much broke. At 10 months old we were in Kansas and he was pointing birds and pheasants on his own, retrieving and hunted hard. He has been a very quick learner. Timmy's knowledge and love for a quality bird dog is easy to see, and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

My pride and joy Eschods Cuttin it Slick will be running in the Arizona National Shoot To Retrieve state championships March 13, 14 and 15 in flagstaff.. He qualified with only one trial the whole year. That is an accomplishment in itself. He has a good chance at placing if not even winning. Even though he only ran in the one trial he is still ranked and or tied with 14 other dogs out of 50 or so. That's how well he did in that one tournament. He found 7 birds that day. His personal best and a feat very few dogs in this state have accomplished. He was raised and trained by a very Good man above all and also happens to be a great trainer. I would recommend sending any dog you want to hunt with, Whether you are looking for just a well behaved dog to hunt by your side or a true "Brag" dog. Timmy Suggs can deliver you a trained dog that will be the envy of all your friends. If you want a trial quality dog there is no other man to do the job. You will walk into whatever competition you choose and be competing with the top dogs out of the gate. Timmy Suggs trained my buddy Slick to be a perfectly behaved family pet that transforms into a bird finding machine. But any trainer knows that is just the beginning of his job (although finding the bird is the key) he then has to finish the job with style from the point, release on command for the retrieve with great speed and desire back to the hand and then like a bullet back to work finding the next bird. He turns on command, checks in lots of regularly and never gets out of my sight for to long without making sure he is seen then gets back at it. He is trained to check structure hunt with the wind in his face and quarters the field like he had a plan the minute he put eyes on field. Slick has whoa, here and yo (which means turn) down pat. We both just read off each other and work the field as efficiently as possible. Slick can be running across the field see another dog on point in the distance and he will hit the brakes to stop in the point position and not move a muscle. This is called backing or honoring the other dog while the other dog finishes his work. Once that happens Slick is trained to be released by a tap on the head. Slick is a learning machine. He absorbs yard work and excels in the field. This is strictly from good breeding, proper puppy training and lots of positive reinforcement during the breaking process. I would be thrilled to own and compete another quality trained dog by Timmy Suggs.

Darrin

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing an outstanding Brittany female, Sugg's Royal Princess MH, from Timmy Suggs. Because of the distance involved (I'm in North Dakota and Timmy is in South Carolina) our business had to be done via e-mails and telephone and required considerable trust on both our parts.

Timmy was honest and upfront in representing the dog and provided me with video of her in the field. It was obvious he cared about the dog and wanted to know what my expectations and plans were for her to make sure I wouldn't be disappointed as well as she would be well loved and cared for. I was fortunate enough to have a friend who was able to pick Princess up and Timmy took him and the dog out to the training field and worked her on some birds to show how she handled.

Princess is a sweet, sweet girl and it is obvious that she was raised and handled kindly; she is the most biddable, pleasing dog you could ask for and it is easy to see why she achieved her Master Hunter title with 6 out of 6 passes. Timmy made sure all of her vaccinations were current and updated anything that was close to coming due before she left; all paperwork was received promptly. I would definitely recommend Timmy Suggs if you are considering doing business with him.

My experience with Timmy Suggs at Carolina Gundogs in Loris, SC was nothing short of Awesome.
I purchased a 2 year old English Pointer named Suggs Big Chance. Before the purchase Timmy was very informative and took alot of time speaking to me over the phone answering questions and uploading video. Timmy offered me the opportunity to visit SC and shoot birds over chance before the purchase. Due to the holidays I was unable to take him up on this but felt very confident I was getting exactly what was being represented. Timmy took the time to make all the necessary arrangements to fly Chance from SC to Louisville, Ky. This Pointer is everything I was expecting and more.
Thanks Timmy Suggs and Carolina Gundogs for such a wonderful Birddog and buying experience.
